We have an ultra-intense, loaded Full Moon at 16 degrees Scorpio on May 5th. Full Moons equal culminations/endings/results. Scorpio is about death and the resulting transformation. PLUS, there will be an edgy opposition between Mercury in Aries and Saturn in Libra (at 24 degrees). Mercury in Aries says “Let’s do it NOW” but gets its knuckles rapped by Saturn who says “No. That’s not acceptable.”
So it won’t be easy-breezy. But you’ll do fine as long as you don’t avoid confrontation. The Full Moon will push you to confront some deep fears/obsessions/control issues. If you back away from Scorpio, you’re cooked. It’s got lessons that will just keep coming and coming and coming until you deal with them. So dive in. Hint: they’ll involve an angry/willful/rebellious agenda (Mercury in Aries) and what happens (Saturn in Libra) when you push it.
Look at your chart. The house with Scorpio in it is where you’ll have to let something die in order to move forward. Could be a relationship/attitude/habit…the house will define whatever it is. Now check the houses that have Aries and Libra. Here’s where you’ll feel the tension between knowing/speaking your will (Mercury in Aries) and the limits confronting it (Saturn in Libra). Think socially disruptive (Aries) versus socially acceptable (Libra).
These energies could shake out in all sorts of ways. You’re probably starting to feel the buildup now. The key is courage. It will take courage to confront whatever the Full Moon unearths. And it will take courage to confront whatever Saturn says you can’t/shouldn’t say. Will you push forward or restrain yourself? Either way could be correct, depending on your chart. The fight will be about deciding (Mercury) on the responsible (Saturn) course of action (Aries). Remember that Mars (ruler of Aries) used to be the ruler of Scorpio. And Mars never backs down from a fight, even if you have to fight to keep yourself in check. .
If you have planets between 14-16 degrees Scorpio/Taurus or between 23-24 degrees Aries/Libra, you’ll feel these energies most strongly.
so does that mean the moon is conjunct Saturn? Because Saturn is in my 12th, 11 degree Scorpio Rising, I believe the moon falls into my 12th while Mercury is in 6th. Reading your weekly post you mentioned for Sagde about exposing of secrets, is that because of the 12th house full moon or because of it being in Scorpio and secrets?
The moon will conjunct your Saturn if it (Saturn) falls close to the degrees I mentioned in my post. Exposing secrets comes from both the 12th House and Scorpio. Double whammy.
14 degrees Taurus is my Midheaven, with 14 degrees Scorpio at taproot of my chart. Jupiter passed by my midheaven back in April. I intuit that I need to let go of any fears rooted in the past to truly spring forward.
That sounds right. Scorpio on the IC is related to past/childhood fears. Also any destructive habits/secrets rooted in the past.
I am a Gemini with triple Leo and triple Scorpio in my birthchart. I have been dealing with a number of issues lately including the death of my Dad. A Releasing Ceremony under the Scorpio Full Moon sounds like the perfect way to make use of this energy. When dealing with Scorpio (especially when death and bereavement are involved), it’s important to focus on the healing aspects of this sign. It heals by exposing and cleansing any wounds/fears/blockages you may have. Scorpio can bring great empowerment once you release the pain; the other side of the Scorpion is the Phoenix. I would try to keep these images of shadow and light in mind. Also, if you can get your hands on some Myrrh, either in essential oil or incense form, its fragrance is very compatible with Scorpio. It’s a soothing, healing essence that helps you deal with the mysteries of death and it aids in releasing. Any store that sells essential oils should have it.
Wow, I was just talking to my boyfriend the other day about how I need to face up to confrontations more, esp concerning telling people what I really think about how I perceive their actions in a constructive way. My MC is in Libra, straddled by Saturn and Pluto by 3 degrees. My Moon is at 13*05 Taurus, and the 11th house cusp is at 16*05 Scorpio. My Scorpio (girl) friend just broke up with her 10 m.o. baby’s daddy in a violent ending on both parts, cops were involved, she pulled into my driveway with the cops right behind her, I was COMPLETELY flabbergasted; but really, she’s told me lots of similar stories about past times in her life, and also how she’s brought this energy into other people’s spheres of being (she’s Venus conj. Pluto in Scorp, and Aries Moon – SOOOO strong-willed and impulsive).
I just found out that not 3 weeks after the big incident, before she’s even been sentenced for her actions, she’s been trying to engage a mutual friend of ours in a relationship! I have Venus (in Cancer) square Pluto (in Libra) myself, and I develop crushes on most of my guy friends and tend to feel very protective over them, and that’s the case in this instance. This guy is great, I can tell he already has trust issues from past complications in relationships, and now I’m hurt and completely disappointed that she would attempt something like this. It’s made me question the entire meaning of our friendship and her true nature, I really don’t like what I’m seeing, and I’m DEFINITELY feeling torn between letting the friendship just die, or giving her a piece of my mind and trying to salvage whatever it is that we have. Oy!
The Full Moon will oppose your natal Moon so I would definitely expect some push/pull regarding your friendship and your personal needs. 11th House cusp in Scorpio means your friendships will tend towards intense/dramatic/demanding anyway. Kind of a test to see what your personal security (Moon in Taurus) means to you. Every confrontation will teach you a bit more about yourself.
The transiting full moon in Taurus (in natal 8th house) will be conjuncting my natal neptune in Scorpio in second house. Does this mean there will be endings or confrontation with my dreams and/or values? I’m not sure how to interpret this.
The transiting Full Moon will be in Scorpio, not Taurus. So, not in your 8th House but in your 2nd House.
If it passes over your Neptune, you might experience a confrontation about making your dreams (Neptune) of personal/emotional security real. Or letting certain dreams go. If your values are shaky/unclear or if you’re prone to escapism to make yourself feel better (due to Neptune) the Full Moon might push you to see this. The end result will be letting go of anything that undermines your values or security.

well, i may be intrenched in a self-induced fog but i cant natally help it and its probably safer that way what with my mars in a square to this full moon – i have quite a temper the last 24 hours! self diagnosing the 1st house is nigh on impossible and if i could order a reading, god knows i would do so, probably every week.

on my side of the planet, the full moon is on the 6th at 6:35am and my natal neptune sits at 20′ scorp just 4′ before 2nd house cusp. directly across the hub, i have tr jupiter at 21′, natal NN at 17′ and tr sun at 16′. squaring all this is natal mars in leo ruled 10th. so we have a need for compromise between myself and ‘a man, the man, some man’ and probably the compromise should come from me because i have a ‘cut off your nose to spite your face’ mars? transiting NN and 4th house/natal uranus dont seem to point to any obvious clues. i guess SN in 1st means i have to wrench something comfy away from myself. i have saturn rx in my 5th so i dont have any trouble with my temper usually. natal jup in 9th is obviously tied up with this opposition and thus the lack of percievable expansion in 7th or 9th.
ug. seems to me that if the universe knows i have natal neptune in the 1st then its not my fault i am clueless about all of this. what if there is no clear ‘man’? more like two duds. not liking this venus in gemini energy; too flighty for me. would you believe the brightest spot i can see in all of this is that sat rx in libra (ruling my 12th and 1st) is trine my natal sat rx and somehow that comforts me. lol its like the blind leading the blind but there is a mature one in the bunch somewhere – i hope.

There does not always have to be a clear partner to comprise with. Sometimes it’s just a matter of looking at yourself versus “the other”; your attitude towards relationships in general. Remember, Scorpio (and especially Neptune in Scorpio) is not about what’s obvious. It’s about what’s hidden, even if that’s in your 1st House (identity, external image). If you have Neptune in the 1st, others will project a lot of their stuff onto you and you may not even be aware of it.

Looks like the Full Moon will be making a fairly close conjunction to your Ceres at 18 degrees Scorpio. Ceres describes how you nurture and how you receive nurturing (the area of life will be described by the house it’s in). So you could have a realization or be compelled to let go of some old patterns related to this. Or, taking care of yourself/someone else by letting them go. What a great article and so very true! I have a full moon scorpio story I HAVE to share! This full moon is transiting my 12th house. Scorpio rules my 12th house. I just received notice 3 days ago that my rent was being increased just under $200.00 US dollars/month for 1 bedroom apt. I cannot afford this. I was given 4 weeks to make a decision and if I didn’t sign another lease they would force me to pay $2200.00/month. This is a scam going on I sensed, housing discrimination etc. Online the same apts. in my building are being advertised for lower than what I’m actually paying now. Larger apts. are even lower than what they are trying to make me pay. I contacted a realitor to show me the apt. in my same building. Another couple showed up to view w/ me (which is very rare!). The person whom showed me the apts. already knew I lived there and was pretending in front of the couple & realitor that she didn’t know me. As much as I wanted to “oust” the scam I decided unless this person says something about me already living there then I will keep quiet. Afterall, it wasn’t this person who is scaming the renters. However, my gut told me I had to warn the couple and I was bursting inside the entire time! So afterwards, I saw them walk out the front door while I was still standing inside. Then the person called me over privately and she knew “the gig” was up! She wanted to talk, but I interrupted and said I’ll be right back. So I ran out the door and up the street and stopped the couple. Filled with emotion I told them there was a reason why they showed up at the same time as me. This was a sign. I told them about the scam and advised them to think twice about moving there. They were in complete shock and said that they had a “weird” feeling about the place to begin with. They showed their disgust for what I told them was happening to me. They couldn’t believe the amount they were trying to force me to pay and told me how greatful they were that I told them this. They even suggested that I contact someone in the community about my story to let this be known. The end of the story is, I was informed with 99% accuracy that the price will stay at the price I was informed of 3 days ago. I received my “answer” that I will be moving somewhere else in a few months. I don’t know where I’m going, but atleast I received my answer! Then I found a penny later on that day while walking back to my apt. I knew my angels were helping me out today, just as they do everyday
My MC is in 9 degree Scorpio. and there are 3 degree venus, 10 degree Mercury and 19 degree uranus in scorpio. sun and pluto (in conjunction) 20 degree libra in my 9th house. and my saturn is 21 degree virgo in my 8th house. my third house is aries, but i donT have any planets there. I try really hard to understand but can’t. I have some career issues right now. Does this full moon tell me about it?

I’m sorry to read about your break up. I can’t tell you how to preserve this relationship, and here’s why:
When one person wants out of a relationship, it’s their choice. Everyone comes together for a reason (which will be reflected in your charts) and sometimes one person feels that they are finished with that reason. Some relationships have a built in expiry date. It’s painful but unavoidable.
What I can tell you is that, as a Scorpio, you have deep reservoirs of strength. While it’s always difficult for Scorpios to let go before they are ready, once they do let go they are able to completely heal themselves and move on. Know that you can bounce back from this if you focus on letting go and moving forward.
