Overview
This week will be dominated by a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 14 degrees Sagittarius (June 4th). Events triggered by the May 20th Solar Eclipse in Gemini will reach culmination. Sagittarius is an expansive sign and Full Moons are emotional so the stakes in this eclipse will be far-reaching. Hopes will be inflated but disappointments can be just as big. Choices will be based on the future rather than here and now. A rare alignment of the Sun and Venus retrograde (known as an Occultation because Venus will pass over the face of the Sun) will occur at 15 degrees Gemini on June 5th. This will be tied in with the eclipse as fall-outs and conclusions will lead to positive, fresh starts. The focus will be on manifesting and attracting what resonates with your deepest desires or self-definitions.
Aries:
The Full Moon Eclipse activates your opportunities sector. Watch for culminations involving legal matters, long distance travel, education and ideals. Plans might be finalized or a decision to go back to school, re-locate or embrace a new opportunity could be made. The Sun/Venus Occultation can show you something desirable that’s right in front you. If you let a distant opportunity go on the eclipse, the union of the Sun and Venus could show you something close that’s far better. Watch for turning-point conversations, introductions or new information that sets you on a whole new path.
Taurus:
Financial or intimacy issues could feel overwhelming during this eclipse. Issues around sharing, giving control to someone else or paying off your debts could reach a boiling point. No matter how out of control this eclipse makes you feel, the union between the Sun and Venus (your ruler) will give you back the reins. Watch for a financial bonus or conversation that boosts your emotional security and puts you back on solid ground. Making the best choices on how to build your personal security will be hi-lighted and you may discover an inner strength you didn’t know you had.
Gemini:
Relationship issues come to a head with this eclipse. A partnership could end (but only if it was in trouble to being with) or move to the next level. A new chapter in your love life/relationship ideals is starting and it will be accelerated by the Sun/Venus union in your sign. What was completed/confirmed during the eclipse will gain new momentum now. Use this energy to magnetize new partnerships/opportunities that match how you’re feeling inside. If you’re not ready for “new”, use this opportunity to change your self-dialogue, self-image or ideas of what you’re worth.
Cancer:
The Lunar Eclipse hits your sector of work, daily routine and health. If something needs fixing, it will make itself known. Health matters that you’ve been putting off, work issues that you’ve been delaying or missing steps in your routine will fall into place and demand your attention. The Sun/Venus Occultation can reveal a hidden reward, overlooked benefit or secret admirer. Flashes of creative insight can be especially potent and lead to considerable benefits (if followed).
Leo:
The eclipse can tip you full-on into a successful new project, endeavor or realization of your potential. If you want to go for it, now’s the time. You can expand your public influence further than you imagined. The alignment between the Sun (your ruler) and Venus in your social sector can signal a turning point involving friends or groups. Friends can become lovers or a significant new introduction (maybe romantic, maybe not) can be made. Public alliances can change completely but the net results will be positive for you.
Virgo:
The Lunar Eclipse occurs in your home and family sector, bringing matters surrounding childhood issues, a home business, relocation or parental relations to a peak. Moving away from the past is key; get ready to leave behind old habits, negative associations and damaging ideas. The Sun/Venus union can put your career on a whole new track as you receive a message, conversation or confirmation of what you’re truly worth. The work that you’ve put in so far will present its rewards in the court of public opinion. This can be a real image boost for you.
Libra:
The eclipse lights up your communication sector, triggering defining statements and final decisions. Conversations/messages will be highly emotional and can propel you forward into the next phase of your life. Consider all new information and possibilities; a shift in your ideas or broadening of your perspective could be just what you need. The meet-up between the Sun and Venus (your ruler) can open the next, exciting chapter based on what the eclipse wraps up. Watch for a new and intriguing romance, exotic trip or chance to make your ideas known on a public scale. Alternatively, a positive outcome regarding legal matters can be awarded to you.
Scorpio:
Financial and emotional security will be paramount during this eclipse. Final decisions regarding salary, savings, emotional needs or relationship commitments can feel demanding. As loaded as this time is, the ball is in your court. Look to the Venus/Sun alignment to present a financial gift (in the form of assistance, an inheritance, refund or positive news). Intimacy can improve as well with beneficial conversations and/decisions to take things a step further. If the eclipse marked the end of a relationship commitment, the Venus/Sun Occultation can show you the benefits.
Sagittarius:
The Lunar Eclipse can propel you forward to meet your destiny with a no-turning-back decision. The moment can feel ripe with potential but demanding; your next step will define your future. You probably already know what that next step should be (it’s been simmering since the May 20th Solar Eclipse) so take a leap of faith and just do it. The Venus/Sun Occultation can introduce a new, karmic relationship or push an existing partnership into a major new cycle.
Capricorn:
The eclipse lights up your sector of hidden things, illuminating a blind spot, revealing a secret or hi-lighting an overlooked potential. Inflated dreams can also be exposed. Take the truth (whatever it may be) and run forward with it; ultimately, you’ll find it liberating. The Venus/Sun conjunction can provide solutions or fixes to health or work problems. The theme is making healthy, viable choices that will energize your day to day existence.
Aquarius:
Group dynamics will be loaded with significance during this eclipse. Unproductive/limiting associations can end as your view of the big-picture expands in a flash; you’ll see where you’re going and who should accompany you on the trip. The Sun/Venus conjunction can introduce a significant new romance, pivotal creative project or the birth of child. What you celebrate and bring into this world is full of potential now. Move forward and embrace it.
Pisces:
The eclipse signals a turning point that has the potential to define your future. It feels big for a reason; don’t underestimate a final decision, change in career or public image. The course adjustment or ending will place you on a new trajectory where the sky’s the limit. The Venus/Sun Occultation can signal fresh information about real estate, re-locations, family decisions (especially involving siblings) or childhood events. The theme will be a break with the past (and that includes old habits and choices for yourself). The definitions that were applied to you as a child/teenager will be shaken off. It’s time to re-write your base needs and identity.

Thanks so much for this, Nadia!

I really love the Pisces one this week. (my moon). Hits it right on the nose with those family themes and childhood events. So much came up with that these past 6 mo. I feel i’ve really done some major ‘closet cleaning’ with it now. The ‘definitions applied to you as a teenager’ is the ultimate bulls eye. I so got what i was cast as and in lately… Been uncanny, and so good. Feels like the culmination of eons of past ‘therapy’ reflection, and so on. I’m SO ready to kiss it all goodbye now, can’t even convey it in words!
Don’t know what New Path is yet, concretely speaking, but i can tell you this: I’m having a big garage sale and getting rid of stuff already.
Been in the land where i was born for 10 years, and it’s been 9 3/4 too many
Must be time to tune the place out and follow Spirit again.
I’ve compromised all i possibly could.
Thank you for your words of wisdom.
They’re like a magic mirror tonight….
You’re very welcome.
Today’s full moon has been rough. Sagittarius rules my 8th and 9th house. Neptune in Sagittarius is in my 8th. I felt a dream shatter.
I hope this Venus transit offers a positive, fresh start. Since my natal Venus is in the 9th and transiting Venus is in my 2nd house, how does the fresh start intertwine with these house themes? The transiting planet/house brings the kind change and the receiving planet/house receives the impact, right?
Thanks.
Sorry to read about the rough full Moon. Sag expectations can really blow up.
The theme of your natal Venus house will only be important if transiting Venus is actually making an aspect to your natal Venus. If this is so, then changes to your emotional/financial security will trigger an impact in your romantic hope and ideals (9th House Venus).
