Excerpt from my latest Sasstrology post:
“As an astrologer, one of the questions I’m asked most frequently is, “Will I ever get married?” There is a technique that claims to predict the number of potential marriages in your life. It involves counting the number of major aspects the Sun (in a hetero woman’s chart) or the Moon (in a hetero man’s chart) makes to the natal planets before it leaves its sign.”

Can you please clarify how to read, “…before it leaves its sign”? are you looking at progressions or …? did not understand that sentence. Thanks!
Pretend the Sun or Moon is moving forward one degree at a time until it reaches the last degree of its sign. Any natal planets it forms an aspect to during this move forward is an applying aspect.
Have you found this to be accurate? I checked it with various family members and friends, and it seems hit or miss.
So far it’s been accurate.
My sun at 21.5 Aries applies to trine Uranus at 26 Leo, and that’s the only aspect it makes before leaving the sign. I’m 50 and never been married, but I would like to one day (I think). No one in my life right now.
Check your 7th House for transits or progressions to indicate if a major relationship is coming your way. Also, this online mid point calculator can tell you where your Sun/Moon midpoint is. Transits or progressions to the midpoint can also indicate a major relationship.
