We could all use a little calm in our love and financial lives, couldn’t we?
Here it is: Venus in Gemini forms a cool, rational trine to Saturn in Libra (ruled by Venus). There will be limits. Saturn in Libra is about social boundaries and fine balance. It lays a restraining hand on Venus, narrowing the choices (Gemini) down to one or two sensible options. There’s a lot you can’t do. A lot you shouldn’t do. But what’s left is clear, real and has staying power.
The houses in your chart with Gemini and Libra are where you’ll be seeing some realistic financial/self-worth/social options. Saturn’s been hanging out in the Libra section for ages, so this transit will part of his lesson plan.

I didn’t say it was a fun transit. But isn’t nice (sometimes) to know exactly what you’re supposed to do? It will be very clear when you should say “Yes!” and when you should say “No, thank you” to a sticky helping of sugar, sex or bad manners. Now, you can swim against the current and indulge in the stuff that dents your heart, wallet or self-esteem. No one’s going to stop you. But Saturn’s involved so you know there’s going to be consequences.
This transit will be exact on July 31st, when Venus and Saturn are at 23 degrees. Those with planets from 19 to 23 degrees Gemini or Libra will feel it most strongly.
Saturn will transit Libra at 23 degrees in the 6th H; natal chart has Saturn in Libra as well 8 degrees, 5th H. I would love to have just one solid, affirming work option, but always seem to be humbled. Saturn in Virgo seemed worse; does this ever change?
Things should shift when Saturn enters Scorpio, but you need to look at transits and progressions to your 10th House as well.
Saturn transit is conjunct my MC exactly on July 31, so am thinking I can expect drama at work (10th house) and should not engage. Fun!
There may not be drama, but there will probably be increased responsibility for you.
I can’t help but think sometimes relationship wobbles happen for no reason at all. I expect things to move in a different direction after the end of July when Venus in Gemini also heads towards but never quite hits a trine with Mars in Libra. This could well lead to a lot of will he won’t he relationship questions without any real foundation, and nothing for a Gemini and Libra couple will get resolved this month.

Sat in my 1st house trine Venus (my Asc ruler) and I am dieting literally (plus trying not to spend a lot of money) …
My new solar starts on 31st July. Will I be on diet the whole year? Probably.
Also tr.Venus is now on my natal Mars in Gemini (7th house ruler).
What does this mean?
By “my new solar” do you mean your solar return? I think you’re saying that Saturn trine Venus will be in your solar return…you won’t necessarily be on a year long diet but you will be quite disciplined about your image. Transiting Venus on your Mars could make it easier for you to attract romantic attention, but it’s a pretty brief transit so you may not notice anything (unless your progressions are aspecting natal Mars as well).

oh boy. 23° Gemini… that’s where my suns is… in its 9th house, while my Libra Rising is..already familiar w Saturn. What’s going to happen to me?! you mean more confusion? more social boundaries? lol i’m already seeing no one! All i really wish is i was in nature instead of city. That way, i wouldn’t have to hear them and their cars either ….. and maybe even feel like being ‘down here’ instead of the mind…
alone as well, saturn stripped down a lot. though i disagree with donts. i am not in a ralationship with anyone and am seeing things more clearly, but the donts are ridiculos. love is in the heart and THAT is where you go. but saturn makes me cautios and confused as well: where to go what to do in what order how to untangle things… how to make it right! BUT from the heart. no ridiculos boundaries and labels like : ex, married etc.. you just become more aware what could come into. going for the heart is the hardest. it takes courage
I know. I’ve done it my whole life. There is such thing as too much of a good thing believe it or not. Everyone is different, and coming from the heart was always my way, for about 4 decades. I think saying ‘no boundaries’ is not realistic. The ‘don’ts’ are ridiculous? I’m not so sure i agree or understand even.
It seems to me that too many boundaries isn’t good, but neither is having none.
The Middle Path is what i seek. Coming from the heart is fine, but kind of suicidal in this day and age if you’re a woman on your own . In most places that just makes you the best target possible. I’m not saying we have to be paranoid. I always wanted a Peace and Love world. It’s simply not the way it is. Awareness is much better than the naiveté that was always mine, for ‘coming from the heart’.
At this point, my heart is a lot like my respect: people need to show they’re worthy of it.

When you’re dealing with Saturn, it’s all about boundaries and labels. “Ridiculous” or not. Saturn categorizes and limits. It enforces rules, which many people don’t like. But that doesn’t change what Saturn is about.
1st House Saturn trine 9th House Sun… could be a good time to plan a trip to the country or solidify plans involving education or legal matters. Or, it might just give you ideas for long range goals.
How long does this influence last?
In the last paragraph of the article I state when the aspect will be exact. As soon as an aspect is exact, that’s the peak of its influence. After that date it rapidly diminishes.
