Overview

August 31st features a rare Blue Moon; the second Full Moon of this month.  This Moon will be in Pisces and will contact Chiron, the Wounded Healer. Doubts, pain and insecurities will be confronted and released in Pisces’ compassionate embrace. On the same day, Mercury moves into Pisces’ opposite sign (Virgo). This indicates that the way forward will involve facing the truth and getting back to business. No wallowing allowed!

Aries:

The Full Moon triggers a release of hidden or unacknowledged pain. Relief can be achieved through meditation, time alone or dream work. This influence could also signify the completion of a hospital stay or illness. You won’t have much downtime after this as Mercury moves into your sector of work and health. Your daily routine will accelerate as duties and obligations demand attention . Be prepared for lots of paperwork, documents to proofread/sign or medical details to attend to. Health/exercise routines can benefit from a detailed examination.

Taurus:

The Full Moon hi-lights healing/charity work involving the public. You’ll either become aware of how much you’ve given to others or how much you’ve given up. This can be an ideal time to heal or move on from ruptured friendships or feelings of being left out. Mercury takes the sting off as he livens up your sector of creativity and celebrations, introducing flirtatious conversations, creative expressions or a chance to advertise what you’re worth. Don’t be afraid to talk about what you have to offer; others will listen.

Gemini:

It’s time to let go of career disappointments and insecurities. The Full Moon signals  completion in the guise of a job ending, opportunity denied, or career disappointment. Alternatively, you can release fears of success and confront doubts/conflicts about your status. Not all paths are open to you, but after this influence you’ll be able to focus on the ones that are. Allow your attention to shift from career to home as your ruler (Mercury) enters your sector of home and family.  The focus will be on mortgages, rental agreements, home business communications and family discussions.  Facts, figures, picky details and precise communication will be important.

Cancer:

Certain opportunities involving long distance, education, travel, legal matters or publishing will now fade away or be revealed as less than you had hoped for. Although the initial disappointment may be sharp, it will be a relief to let go of something that was beyond your reach to begin with. Once the dust has settled, see what’s new and work with that as Mercury enters your communication sector. You’ll be back on track with an influx of information, communications and ideas to generate new opportunities.

Leo:

The can be a particularly sensitive Full Moon as it hits your sector of intimacy. Releasing pain and fears associated with getting close to someone will be the focus. Whether this means healing from a failed relationship or moving past old abuse issues, this can be a powerful moment. Move forward by discussing your security needs as Mercury enters your sector of personal resources. Clear articulation of emotional desires will help you make the most of this influence.

Virgo:

Relationship dynamics can feel overloaded as the Full Moon hits your partnership sector. As you let go of failed partnerships or drop unrealistic expectations, know that this release will leave room for something/someone healthier to enter your life. Whether a relationship ends or you move forward with your partner after having shared a painful revelation, Mercury’s entrance into your sign can be an empowering next step. Now that you’ve got a clean slate to work with, state your new, realistic goals/expectations/plans to your partner or the universe. Now is not the time to keep things to yourself.

Libra:

The Full Moon indicates solutions/culminations with health or work issues. Medical problems will be resolved or confronted. Relationships with co-workers can be very touchy, but there is huge potential to resolve certain issues (especially involving lack of appreciation). With all conversations or information exchanges, note that motivations may be driven by hidden agendas as Mercury’s move into your sector of secrets keeps certain details out of sight. Use you instincts for now instead of logic.

Scorpio:

This Full Moon can trigger an emotional release regarding romantic fears, disappointments or misplaced expectations. The revelation of illusions or deception can be painful, but healing and compassion is readily available. Alternatively, blocks to creative or personal success can be dissolved now as you confront insecurities. Mercury’s entrance into your sector of friends and groups suggests that the way forward lies in sharing your thoughts with others; you have a receptive audience. A conversation can help you move on via an exchange of essential/truthful information.

Sagittarius:

Home and family is hi-lighted as the Full Moon triggers and helps you heal doubts/wounds from the past. Alternatively, the illness of a family member will reach a major turning point; issues involving guilt and responsibility may come up. It’s time to realize that you’ve done all that you can. No matter what happens, Mercury’s entrance into your career sector insists that you can shift your focus for now. Pay attention to your future goals/ambitions/career issues. You don’t have much control over what happens at home, but you do have control over your future path.

Capricorn:

The Full Moon triggers a conversation or message that touches a sore spot. Whether you’re reaching out to someone, clearing the air or hearing a painful truth, communication is the avenue for release and healing. Mercury’s entrance into your sector of opportunity suggests that information or contacts (involving education, long distance travel, legal matters or publishing) will give you something new to work with.

Aquarius:

Security issues are the hot button this week as the Full Moon brings up some uneasy feelings. You may fear that your financial/emotional foundation is dissolving, but check to see what’s really driving this. Culminating events will be highly emotional, and some of the fallout may be related to old agendas that no longer apply. Mercury’s entrance into your sector of shared resources insists that you discuss the facts about intimacy or shared finances (debts, taxes, loans, your partner’s finances) and develop a new plan.

Pisces:

The Full Moon in your sign can be turning point that moves you past doubts or insecurities that have been holding you back. If you’ve felt like you’ve lost your way, your identity, or your ambition, this Moon can help you confront these issues. Mercury’s entrance into your partnership sector suggests that practical conversations about what’s best for both of you will be instrumental in getting you back on track.

    : (
this gemini / libra rising feels like it’s just like the full on Saturn dumps type thing again.
doubt, disappointment, oh yeah and not having a job for 10 ****** years
is leaving me in a total abyss.. for a change, and at this point, it’s kind of like being tired of : 1. being always pushed back down after tons of toils to get out and ahead.. and 2. realizing how when you’re life has turned bad, you SURELY can not, i repeat cannot, ever hope for a helping hand to help you either. I’m not talking ‘save me save me ‘ here.
I’m talking about help getting out of the total dignity-vacant spot the not so nice people of this even LESS nice country (where i was born and an idiot enough to return too… ) has left you, throwing your life, education, experience and whatever you could bring , right into the (excuse me) crapper.
and once you fall off, everyone flees from you like the plague!
God forbid it was them! And oh… we don’t need such ‘down and out’ example for our kids (of what life can do to a good person).
    Nice.
One more thing: the ‘compassionate side of Pisces’ ( i have a moon there, but also has some ‘friends’ and family of the sign…
well, i can tell you this: my experience with Pisces has been a nice friendly front, and a damned cols fish inside! (when the chips are down. I didn’t use to think this until the last 5 years or so… )
    It’s feeling pretty hopeless now.
Cos there can be good stars, up there in the sky, but down in the country where i ‘live’ (if you call call it that, i sure don’t) there are too many BAS people, for the stars to make ‘the’ difference in my life. Or so it seems. By ‘bad’ people i mean folks who care NOTHING about anyone but themselves, and sometimes their precious little family.
Believe me, when you’re a woman alone for long enough, you really get to see the ugly side of humanity.
Which totally explains (at least to me) why the world has so gone to h*** , being ruled, as it is by the WORST tendencies in the human (greed, exploitation of others, violence, selfishness, disregard for human life, i can go on)

Along those lines.. (off topic.. some) Can you believe the guy who shot 77 people dead in Norway only got 21 years sentence?!!!!
Why? Cos in Norway that’s the highest VERDICT you can get.
Apparently, the people there are HAPPY: he got the max!
Now i wonder, if you divided 21 years by 77, how much is one of those life worth?

    we ain’t much, to OTHERS.
you really get to see that when you’re (observant enough, and) alone in the world.
Comes a point one start thinking it’s really NOT worth the trouble. To get only the bad in humans… and never any of the good thing we are capable of sharing.
My heart is in bad shape. If you could tell. Very discouraged.

I’m sorry you’re feeling discouraged, Cassidy. You have Libra rising? Saturn through your 1st house/over your AC can be terribly discouraging. I’m thinking you’ll notice a big shift when it moves into Scorpio.

  2. Cassidy says:

i thought 2012 would at least be a little easier than 2011. So far i think it’s worst. I’m handling more, I’M trying amidst the chaos, to do positive things (and i have done some! which, given circumstances, im proud off. not that anyone in BELGIUM knows! Online stuff – For example, now that i have my website, I put together a really good visual/ musical Tribute together, for a man who has been deceased for some time, but was an outstanding musician (albeit not a commercial success.. Commerce is for the simpler stuff.. The BEST stuff is always a bit harder to find… Most people apparently don’t bother and they call what’s on MTV ‘Music’! I don’t. I call it sex on tv).
Yet, in spite of my really trying hard, since early on this year, to make headway, i only got more locked in.
    A c*** year.
    What’s one more.
This is gonna sound dated, but the world was a much nicer place even in the 80ies.
Been devolving very fast since, i think.
My unemployed Cultural Anthropologist’s too cents anyway.

    • Nadia says:

Keep pushing with that website. It’s an important outlet for you. Plus, I would say that your website qualifies as headway so you are making progress.

      • Cassidy says:

Thank you! Yes… Been keeping at it and it’s really helping.. I have such a strange feeling sometimes.. like finding ways to bring the Gold out while being surrounded by… the stuff i said.
Thank you so much for the ‘reality’ check.

  3. Cassidy says:

The musician.. was the man i loved. He died during my Saturn return, in 1989, Evidently i was 29 y. o. at the time.

  4. Maya says:

    Hello Nadia,
When I read your forecasts, should I read for my rising or my sun sign?
    Thanks!
