Mars in Libra is applying to a conjunction with Saturn. All the Mars/Libra scenarios that have been brewing since this transit began (see my original post here) will come to a head.
Saturn in Libra is about social consequences. How you experience the Mars/Saturn meeting will depend entirely on how you’ve been doing Mars in Libra. Careful, conscious use of this energy (starting something with another’s needs in mind, balanced action, polite assertiveness) will net you solid results. You’ll get a confirmation of something you desire (Mars). Alternatively, you could cross a threshold and finally complete something that’s necessary (but not fun).
Careless use of this energy (passive agressive jabs, dithering, trampling over other people’s boundaries) will get you payback. But not the nice kind. If you try to push a relationship or scenario further than it’s supposed to go, you’ll hit a wall. If you’ve been frittering away your energy, you’ll be held accountable. The unpleasant side of Mars/Saturn is the authoritarian “No, you can’t”.
The action that’s been taking place in the Libra occupied area of your chart will slow down as Mars approaches Saturn. It may feel like a grind, but it’s Saturn’s way of ensuring that you’re on the right track. Do you really want this? Yes? Then it’s worth the extra effort. So if things get sticky, dig in and push a little harder. Slow, concentrated efforts are the way to go (push too fast and you’ll get burnt out). But… make sure you’re pushing for something that’s meant to happen. Re-read the 2nd and 3rd paragraphs of this post if you’re not sure. The pace will pick up again after this aspect is exact (at 24 degrees Libra) on August 15th.
If you have planets between 17-24 degrees Libra you’ll feel this most intensely.

Nope; grand finale is when Saturn leaves Libra for Scorpio (in October).
I am enjoying your blog! Last year on my birthday Saturn was conjunct my 20 degree Libra sun setting the tone for the whole year. In all honesty I’m not sure what Saturn lessons i’ve been supposed to learn. This Mars/Saturn conjunction doesn’t sound fun either. I am just patiently waiting for Saturn to move into Scorpio:)
I’m waiting for Saturn into Scorpio as well. Most of my contemporaries have Neptune in this range, 17-19 Libra, different houses, of course. Mine is 6th house. Is Neptune relevant in this scenario or too distant? Thank you for your good work!

Saturn conjunct Sun is about limits on the ego, including responsibilities related to how you interact with others. Think about your purpose in life (which will also be described by the house your Sun is in) and how it’s been tested or altered.

Your Mars is a bit too far away to be impacted by the conjunction. But your Saturn/Pluto will feel it. I would watch for blocks to your power/drive to succeed especially in creative areas. Also, if you have kids they might be affected.

The Mars-Saturn conjunction happens at the same sign and degree as my Ascendant. I also have North Node and Pluto in the Libra degree range you are mentioning above as the ones to be mostly affected.
Transiting Saturn has been hovering around my AC for a year now, haven’t noticed any substantial change though. Mars conjunct my MC in Leo and rules my 6th and 7th houses, and Saturn in the 10th natally too, is the co-ruler of the 3d as I have an intercepted Capricorn inside. Do you believe I am up for a big change when those two meet over my AC?
Possibly, but it really depends on the other transits/progressions hitting your chart. Sometimes a major transit fizzles, or the effects aren’t noticed right away. You might notice a change in your energy level (Mars/Saturn is blocked or focused energy and the AC rules your physical body).
my libra being in the 12th, i guess i will have to wait some time to understand what this means to/for me.
on a side note, a quick curiosity question: i have every placement as lina but somehow my saturn ended up in my 5th and hers in the 10th. as it moves so slowly, i am wondering how that happened?! diff long/lat?
and hmmm, ‘intercepted’ cap….this sounds important but i have not come across it yet.
I think the different Saturn placements may be due to birth time? Different birth times change the house postions dramatically.

There might be a situation that pushes you to work with your NN energy. But it would be the result of a buildup…so you can probably see it coming (possibly since Saturn entered Libar).
The Mars-Saturn conjunction is in my 12th house opposing my Moon in Aries in the 6th. Any words of wisdom as to how to navigate this? Many thanks!
You might feel this in the following areas: work, health or daily routines. There could be some restrictions/blocks to what you want in these areas. Be wary of pushing for something that you really “must” have, because you’ll encounter opposition. Compromise, compromise.

Saturn Mars hits my sun at 24 libra in the fifth house …i also have natal saturn at 23 capricorn and natal Jupiter at 29 cap in my 7th house .. trying hard to be positive .. i have had a hard couple of years ..the biggest being the loss of my son last december .. do i take another deep breath ?

Unfortunately, I can’t really say what else is coming up for you because I can’t see your chart. It really depends what other 5th House things (children, creativity, purpose) you have going on. As I mentioned in the article, this influence isn’t about surprises. So if there’s nothing major building in that area of your life, you’re probably ok.

The Saturn – Mars conjunction hits my natal mercury (28 degrees) -uranus (26 degrees) conjunction in libra 8th house! How much should I worry??
Also the pluto (in natal 11th) -uranus (1st) -venus (5th) T-square hits my natal mars (9 degrees) pluto (6 degrees) sun (3 degrees) in libra 7th house while jupiter is conjuncting my IC…
What to make of it all? Any advice is much appreciated! The last year has been rough!
Mars/Saturn on your Mercury/Uranus can work as constructive limits. Mercury/Uranus wants to say/think whatever it wants. Mars/Saturn will show you why you may not be able to, but it will help you focus.
This conjunction will happen in my 6th house, right on top of my Pluto-Vertex conjunction. Got a meeting for a job proposal on the 15th. I am SO looking forward to see what happens

I have been feeling this building on all levels the last week and its really challengin, I havent been good with mars energy ever really. The mars conj saturn is conjunct my natal asc, which means its squaring natal saturn and sextile natal nth node, mars and uranus. Meanwhile venus is conjunct natal merc which is being opposed by pluto and squared by uranus. BML is also conjunct my vertex and mercury is within a degree of my MC…..this to me screams hide … yet it doesnt look like that is likely somehow…sux to be a cancer sun at the moment still there has to be a positive way for me to used it, its all about balance, remaining calm yet passionate and being different, just need to see how …..I also have asteroid karma conjunct natal h48 in 10th house…. sheesh seems I am between crab shells so wheres a rock?
It won’t be possible to hide if it’s hitting your AC (a public spot on your chart). Best way to use it….Saturn over your AC is about taking responsibility and confronting (Mars) any issues with relationships (Libra) with others. How are you interacting with outsiders? Do you have more responsibility, etc.

Thank you for the insight on Mars/Saturn this coming week. It will be taking place on my natal Venus (24), close to my Sun (28) in the 10th house. I have been coming up with various interpretations, and try not to be intimidated, but after Saturn went over my Venus just last week and the developments were rather intense (restrictions, restrictions, restrictions), I am not sure what to make of it. I have been going through a complete restructuring process this year – career change in the making, in the process of relocation, relationship break-up …. Honestly, I hope for relief to come my way! Saturn through the 10th can focus your energies on meshing your future goals with the current environment. But whatever stands in the way will be removed (like outdated relationships, etc). Although it feels painful, know that whatever Saturn takes away is not needed anymore.

I think it is very much our attitude that decides in how far we are pushed around by the energies. I lost my cool, which rarely happens, when Saturn was directly conjunct my natal Venus because instead of being able to see beyond the horizon, I only saw the mess right in front of my eyes. … I am not yet masterful in making lemonade, but I’m getting there. Jupiter in 4th house
Moon in 7th house
Mercury in 8th house
Sun-Rahu-Venus are in 9th house.
I am happy now but with few health issues. Also i am really worried about my marriage and career in my near future.
How would this affect my life now and for next two years ? Please share your thoughts or advice….
