Mercury enters Virgo tomorrow, right on the heels of the Full Moon in Pisces. Mercury rules Virgo, the sign of realism, logic and detail. It’s the perfect antidote to any Full Moon hangover you might experience.
After you’ve been doused with the Pisces/Chiron emotional blitz, won’t it be nice settle down with a gentle, Virgo nudge? Sometimes all that Full Moon cleansing can leave you wondering “What next? How do I apply these lessons?” The house in your chart with Virgo in it will hold the answer (it will be directly opposite the house where the Full Moon occurs). If you think/communicate with the correct (Virgo) intentions…that means honesty, integrity, precision and a full awareness of what can be improved…you’ll roll out of the gate smoothly. Whether you had to give up, let go of or confront something on the Full Moon, there will be no time to sit around and feel regret. Sorry, there just won’t be. Virgo demands discipline.
So keep moving, and keep grounded.
Mercury will be in Virgo until September 16th.

what if this house where virgo is, is the 8th? grounded in the 8th house? going from pisces in the 2nd with venus close to full moon (moon was between natal venus and mars but venus closer) to 8th where there is sun now, and mars had its stay there this year- i have to repeat-gounded in the 8th? to me it is like saying be grounded in the 12th house =) sorry, if you can explain this- to me it seems like a deep emotional journey altogether… and i really feel confused since this moon
It’s easy to get the 8th and the 12th confused. Think of it this way; the 8th represents impulses/obsessions/compulsions/power issues. The 12th represents the unconscious/dreams/spirituality. The 8th is about personal power, the 12th is about letting go.
But still dont know how can something so out of control and emotional/implusive/urge/desire go with what the article says-practicality, grounded?
Not sure what you’re referring to here…what’s out of control?
wow. thank you so much for making virgo sound so brilliant. this smooth rolling kind of description doesnt happen too often.
You’re welcome. As a Virgo Sun, Mars, Mercury, Pluto I feel I have some insight into how “smooth” Virgo can be (sometimes).
Aaaah, you’re a Virgo!
It’s no wonder i like your mind.
My dad was one, as well as all the major people in my life, for the longest time. Gemini & Virgo = Mercury!
You’re familiar w the old psychedelic band Quicksilver Messenger Service? They had named it that cos they were all Virgos in the band, w/ one Gem. Some of them were my friends too. I used to call that my ‘Virgo Curse’ (in jest). When you have Virgo friends, eventually you start thinking other people just don’t have such bright and logical minds. Well.. the good Virgos i met were bright ones, on the whole. They spoiled me intellectually and made other folks look bad!
Nope, not familiar with that band. Interesting that they were all Virgo/Gemini though. Wonder if they knew that when they got together.
I’ll add that i’ve been feeling way better since Sun entered Virgo. When your life needs serious ‘order’ Virgo really helps. I feel more rational and i’m making lists and prioritizing again! While during Cancer month i mostly cried, Leo month i ‘rose’ and launched a website, first time ever, and that all felt pretty ‘explosive’ in a good way, the ‘I’ am alive way. Heaven knows all this could use a little ‘sound organizing’ and ‘grounding in the real’ by now.. I feel so glad weir in an Earth sign right now. So needed that Virgo magic to sort it out and get perspective, you know…
PS: Happy Birthday to you, Nadia !
Thanks, Cassidy.
PPS: for ‘edification’ (lol), here’s a page on the most brilliant Virgo i met
http://www.weir4ever.com/john-cipollina/
It has videos i made of his music in it and a bunch of other fun stuff. The flower is one that was created for and named after him. He passed in 89
Thank you…I’ll check it out.
yes, happy birthday to you, nadia. have a SHINEY month!
i am *still* coming up with new definitions of how neptune operates in my natal chart. typical lol
so, am waaaay behind on posts…
Thank you.
Interesting synch. You’re a Virgo, great analyzer.
I commented on the Neptune trine, then found this. Pisces MC leaves my life goals/path in utter fog. This article shook me a bit. My Mercury is House 3 Gemini & Virgo opposite that Pisces Moon. I’m wavering between painting and writing now. Odd, the paintings I had visualized involved calligraphy. Huge synch with your articles.
Glad to read that my articles are resonating with you. As for Pisces MC and foggy goals…don’t get too shook up about that. My MC is in Pisces as well, and I can say from experience that it takes a bit of searching to find your path, but you do find it.
Nadia, so nice to meet a fellow Pisces MC. I think Janet Boyer’s description was best. She spoke of a ”baptism of fire” so to speak before this MC truly realizes their path. It’s the toughest of the MC’s, I can attest to that!
Nice to meet you too. It certainly makes it difficult to find a direction in life.
