One thing I’ve noticed (with the recent emphasis on Pisces and Saturn retrograde) is people saying “Enough!” The stellium in Pisces is asking you to let go…but what if you’ve already let go of everything? Saturn retrograde signals a slow down…but what if you’re already at a standstill?
Sometimes a heavy transit can over emphasize what you’ve already got going on. It’s right there, in your face, and you’ve already given all you can give. How to deal? Look to the transiting or progressed planet that offers some energy to balance things out. There’s always more than one influence hitting your chart at any given time. Sometimes, all it takes is awareness to activate the less obvious energies.
So if you’re swamped by Pisces, and feel that you have nothing left to release, look to transiting or progressed Jupiter to see what’s increasing in your life. If the idea of a Saturn Rx delay fills you with dread (because you’re already stuck in concrete) look at transiting/progressed Uranus and Pluto to see what areas of your chart are being shaken and stirred. Then turn your attention to those areas. This is how you make astrology work for you.

I am finding myself using these influences this way, that all fairy tales have a fable embedded with them, thus is life potentially too, the happily ever after stuff possible with completion of the learning and applying, so at the moment, it has not been possible for some time now to ignore the fable, it is there wont be denied and Saturn/Pluto is a big part of this, however at this time I am finding it useful as one who has let everything go literally, it to let go of focus on the fable for a short time and use the stellium in pisces to dare to dream of how one would love life to be once the lessons are done, so that when venus enters the scene to add the love and values, or power of the goddess to that imagination, it just may be possible to see the steps to follow as mars enters aries and initiates the OK GO, DO IT NOW! as typical for this mars ruled sign yet even moreso with Uranus in there too with his lightening bolt brain storms
Just in case this supports anyone else
Do I look at where Jupiter is in my natal chart or do I look at where it is right now to see this?
Thanks for your help and your great posts!
You’re welcome.
Look for transiting Jupiter to discover areas of new opportunities/expansion.
Thank you, Nadia. When I read your posts, I feel as if you’re speaking directly to me!
Have you ever thought about offering an online class for astrology interpretation? Your perspective is very helpful, and I’m sure others would like to learn more as well.
I’ve thought about it. Have not formulated a plan yet, but enough people are asking so that might be a goal for this year.
Have you posted on how to figure out and interpret progressions? or is there a site that you recommend that will do a progressed chart? Which progressions are significant? thank you!
I haven’t, but I can do a future post on this. No specific site to recommend, but Carol Rushman’s book “The Art of Predictive Astrology” is an excellent resource.
ALL progressions are significant. But I’ll get into that more with my future post….
Thanks for the reminder Nadia, no matter how many heavy transits you have at a given time, there is usually at least one positive one. Right now I have Neptune opposing my Moon, Chiron opposing Mars, and Saturn squaring Sun/Mercury. Argh! I feel like I’m slogging through some painful swap, self esteem being battered, ready to lash out at anything that annoys me. Can’t wait for it to end!
But at the same time, Pluto is trining Mars and Jupiter moving through my 11th house. I am having more fun than ever this winter doing outdoor, physical, social activities. Just what I need to help get through the “yuck” of the rest of it!
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing this…a perfect illustration of what I was talking about.
Thank you for the encouraging words Nadia, much needed at this difficult time….. I did not know that transit Saturn conjunct Moon in Scorpio in 7th house would turn out to be so overwhelming, with little respite in sight…..
Yeah, Moon/Saturn in the 7th is a doozy. I’m an advocate of backing off the harsh transits for a while if you need to. If you turn your attention to more positive energies, it’s not like the overwhelming transits are going to fall apart, or stop working. Sometimes you need a break.
So if feel all of the above (feet in concrete and what more can i lose?) and
Jupiter is now transiting thru Gemini (my sun sign ) in 9th house
and Uranus is transiting on my Dsc in Aries 7th house…
how do i interpret that?
feeling all that Pisces (my Moon’s home 2°) make my mind.. murky, at best
big questions inside and feeling clueless !
Changes in how you epxand your horizons (9th House) and how you relate, one on one (7th House). Jupiter in 9th should be bringing you some opportunities to relocate…
Dear Nadia! I wanted to find out more about Mars-Pluto and landed on your blog. Wow! Thank you for your sharing and your positiveness!!!
I want to lok at and understand (my) power and hopefully use it for good. I have a natal opposition mars (acuario, 1st) – pluto (7.; leo) and a stellium in scorpio (venus, moon, mercury, saturn) squaring pluto. Pluto is about to pass over my AC and transit saturn is returning, and I am feeling that now is the opportunity of recognising, healing, growing, transformation… Your blog is like a light on the way!
You’re welcome!
