Mercury Retrograde In Pisces

When Mercury swims through Pisces, logic is diffused. But what happens when Mercury swims backwards through Pisces?

Mercury will go retrograde at 19 degrees Pisces, on February 23rd. All the usual rules will apply; double check the details, expect opinions to be changed, avoid signing major documents (if you can). But in dreamy Pisces…

I will say this: don’t worry about it. Really. You’re already in the deep waters of this Pisces stellium, so some second thoughts aren’t going to make a huge difference.  And that’s all Mercury retrograde is; a time to reconsider. Pisces energy has compelled you to let go. You’re allowing things to happen and going with the flow. You’re feeling almost Zen about the whole thing because you’ve realized that certain things will happen, with or without your intervention. But maybe you missed something (Pisces is notorious for obscuring the the truth). Mercury retrograde can be very revealing when secrets come to light.

For those who want to go deeper, this is the ideal energy for creative exploration, meditation, and getting in touch with some old hopes and dreams. Are they worth a second look? Obviously, this is a poor time for starting something new. No one’s really sure what they think, and ideas will shift like crazy. Mercury will back into Mars on February 26th (at 19 degrees Pisces), which suggests that your last big idea/plan/disagreement will be up for review, immediately. So be prepared to reenergize something you thought was finished.

Allow information to bubble to the surface, but try not to act on it until Mercury goes direct (on March 17th, at 5 degrees Pisces). Those with planets/angles between 5 and 19 degrees Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius and Gemini will be most strongly impacted.

Oh so true – “Zen” is right on the mark (Pisces stellium 5th house). My toddler has had so many near misses (accidental) this past week he’s definitely keeping me “grounded” alert and on my toes though. Thanks again Nadia

so relevant! had dissagreement with partner on the 18th when saturn went retro, and hes a gemini so im sure he was affected by mercury retro coming. im a cancer. hoping it will come up for review, and yes, very much a zen like feeling, not much anxiety at all over it, going with the flow.

Excellent. Thanks for sharing. It’s a bit early for him to feel Mercury Rx…possibly Jupiter in Gemini was stirring something up (Jupiter can make existing issues bigger). Also, check to see if transiting Neptune is squaring any of his Gemini planets.

me too. i had a sort of disagreement on 21st with my boyfriend ( Scorpio ). i’m Capricorn and i have asked him serious questions about our relationship. no reply so far but i am willing to accept any outcome – good or bad.

A bit of a double whammy here with saturn about to back over my neptune, yet I do feel faith is valuable and I do have merc rx natally which I find sometimes retriggers a missed opportunity or I suddenly get credit for something formerly overlooked, so putting that together with the karma/illusion battle in my first house, I may actually be seen as who I am and be respected for it. that would be nice :)

Is it possible that a past relationship will come up for a review? Is am a Virgo asc. 19degree/Pi is my 7th house of relationships…

I have a lot of planets at about 19 degrees… As it is 19 pisces is my South Node, Venus/Neptune are conjunct at 19 Sag, I have Uranus at 21 Scorpio (oh boy was that eclipse and last retrograde a dooozy) and Pluto at 19 Libra (not so much in the mix this time, but still).

I’m not sure what to expect. My SN is in my natal 6th house.

First I apologize if my english is sometimes erratic because I’m French and furthermore Pisces!
I applied for a job which is really important for me and desperately wait for the ultimate issue these days. I am 5°Pisces. Does it mean I will have to wait for until mid-March to feel completely released about it? In my natal chart, Mercury is in the 10th house. Many thanks, Nadia.

I have a weird question, sort of.
Mercury being retrograde, i know ‘new ideas’ or traveling, long distance communication etc. are all a mess. Sooo, my question is this: what if an unexpected travel invitation pops on you from someone from way back, to go visit, in a place you’d never thought you’d go right now, and it TEMPS you?
Is it necessarily a ‘bad idea’ or could it just be one of these Rx influences bringing something back up for review, or something from the past to bring perspective to the present or such? What do you think?
The place i’m invited to is Israel. The friend is a California friend from way back, that i haven’t seen since my first days in the U.S. early 80ies (Grateful Dead extended family)
Or is it just an ‘escape’ temptation?
Argh.. you think i need perspective on things?! I’m with my nose on them.. yikes
Been living behind walls too long, my perspective is a chronic mess by now..
    Any thoughts appreciated.
I’m a Gem, Lib rising, Pi Moon 1960
Thank you! You’re quite the only one i can ask this, and they won’t laugh
