The Sun moves into Pisces today, adding more fuel to the Pisces stellium.
Transits of the Sun are a less specific type of energy than other planets. The Sun acts as an accelerant (or a trigger) drawing your attention to the part of your chart that it’s activating. So if you haven’t felt much from the Pisces stellium, that may change now, or when the Sun passes over Neptune on February 21st. Or when it hits Chiron on February 27th, or Mercury on March 4th.
It’s easy to lose yourself (your focus, or your purpose) with all this Pisces. So ask yourself this question: what is my purpose? The Sun represents your life’s purpose (and your ego) in the natal chart. When you start to lose sight of what that is, it’s a signal that you’ve drifted off course, or the course needs to be changed completely.
If your birthday is between today and March 20th, there will be a massive concentration of energy in one area of your Solar Return chart. This will dominate your year ahead, so it might be an idea to figure out where that energy will hit.

It hits my 8th house… My birthdya is on March 19. Can I expect somebody in my family to die? Or could it just mean I’ll be dealing with my taxes and trying to find a job?
It really depends on what else is happening in your chart. I should add…the “death” associated with the 8th House is often metaphorical. An ending or massive transformation, as opposed to someone’s life ending. But you have to look at your chart as a whole, plus all the other transits/progressions, to see what will take place.
Ahh the sun is trining natal sun while mars is sextile natal venus in taurus, life is feeling rich and good and bright even if it doesnt look that way, am enjoying the day anyway
Sounds lovely!
Hmm, Pisces is somewhat split between my 10th and 11th house. The 10th house has Neptune and the Sun. The majority is in the 11th which is where my natal moon sits as well. I don’t know, we will see what happens.
The focus will be on externals…your place in society, your status, your future goals…
What about if you’re a late Pisces/Aries cusper? My birthday is March 24th, and I haven’t been sure if I should expect to feel any of this Pisces focus, or if it’s just missed me. (I’m secretly hoping it’s the latter; every year I seem to have a difficult time with the month of February generally.)
There will be 4 planets (Sun, Venus, Uranus and Mars) in Aries but Neptune, Mercury and Chiron will be in Pisces, so the focus will be split between 2 areas.
SR 5th house 4 planet stellium (Sun, Venus, Neptune, Mercury Rx ) incl. Chiron overlays late 4th house cusp venus in aquarius – 5H Sun and Mercury at 6degs (Hello Full Moon in Virgo conjunct Juno Rx opposition in 5 days time) and my little Pisces son’s have lost the plot – my soon to be 8yr old son (4th March-12th house Uranus, Venus and Sun conjunct in Pisces – Natal Neptune in Aquarius 12th house cusp) is convinced I have served him up dog roll for dinner tonight and refuses to eat it (its actually lamb roast with all the trimmings), my 18mth old toddler (Aqua Rising, 1st house Neptune Rx in Pisces) decides to stuff his mouth with mud (yes MUD) and is adamant he WILL have mud for dessert also.As for me, I feel as though I have been hit over the head with a huge hammer (pain free of course) and am totally blissed out with a heavy heady feeling, walking on clouds, can’t see the forest for the trees type of stuff ready to take them both on – come what may!! Its like nothing is phasing me right now…I mean what is going on Nadia…me and my family have gone bonkers lol
Usually the blissful feelings you’re describing are related to contacts between Neptune and Jupiter (transits or progressions) in your chart. Sometimes referred to as “false happiness”, but if it feels good (and you’re not doing anything destructive) then I say just go with it.
Daughter’s birthday is 2/22 & her Pisces 10th house has both Sun & NN at 4′, she has Venus at 23′ in this house but it’s in Aquarius. Venus is conjunct her natal Venus-23 , it’s in her 10th house Aquarius but will move into Pisces next week. This sounds positive for her
The Sun moving over her NN might activate something with her career/future (as might the Venus/Venus contact) but there also needs to be other, longer term transits/progressions to back it up. But either way, it certainly won’t be bad for her…
What is a solar return chart?
A chart that is cast for the moment the Sun returns to the exact sign and degree it was at when you were born. The positions of the other planets (and their aspects to the Sun) will have a strong influence on the next 12 months of your life. SR charts can predict major occurrences in the next year (marriage, divorce, job difficulties, illness, etc). It’s another way of looking at transits, just a very specific way.
My boyfriends birthday is on March 10 and what follows is his 2013 / 14 Solar Return chart:
Conjunction of Sun, Venus, Mars, Mercury and Neptune in the 12th house in PISCES, adding on top of that the conduction with Uranus in Aries, also in the 12th house.
Most of the above (Sun, Venus, Mercury and Neptune) wave positive aspect on retrograde Saturn in the 7th house in Scorpio.
Jupiter is in the 2nd house in Gemini and it has a negative aspect on Mercury and Neptune, while having a positive effect on Uranus and Moon, which is in the 11th house in Aquarius.
Pluton is in the 10th house in Capricorn and has positive impact on Saturn, Mercury and Venus.
