Overview

A complicated week is in store. Venus in Pisces gets pumped up with an idealistic square from Jupiter in Gemini (March 3-4), passes over Chiron, the Wounded Healer (March 4-5) and then receives support with a trine from Saturn in Scorpio (March 5-6). Love, self-esteem and finances will be an emotional mix of revealing hopes, insecurities and opportunities for healing. Saturn’s influence will clarify and offer a reality check. On the same day that she contacts Saturn (March 6), Venus will also meet Mercury retrograde; this suggests the reality check will come from past experience or events. What happened previously will be very informative. Mercury retrograde will then pass over Chiron (March 8) and square Jupiter (March 9), suggesting nostalgic promises and contacts from the past that stir up mixed feelings. These influences are best used to listen and consider; try not to make final decisions until Mercury goes direct (on March 17th). If you must sign/give an answer/make a choice, triple check all details and have a back up plan. There’s a good chance that information will change.

Aries:

Venus is activated in your sector of hidden things, triggering exciting messages and big hopes mixed with relief/release and grounding. A hidden potential or secret attraction could promise more than you hoped for, but the real gift will be a confirmation of something you suspected. When Mercury retrograde contacts Venus and trines Saturn, watch for a reappearance, reconnection or message from someone special. Mercury’s move over Chiron and idealistic square to Jupiter can present mixed messages; is what you’re hearing too good to be true, or will you be let down? There’s more information to be revealed, so for now, keep an open mind but don’t bank on any promises.

Taurus:

Venus (your ruler) is activated in your sector of friends and groups. Personal versus public values, insecurities about status, and confusion between friendship and romance may all be themes. Mercury retrograde and Saturn indicate past relationship issues (or a meeting/conversation with an ex lover) could actually clarify things for you. Past relationship dynamics are key. Mercury retrograde’s connection with Chiron and Jupiter can see you re-evaluating group activities, relations with friends or even personal goals based on your conviction that you need more (money or emotional satisfaction). Your ideas may shift again once Mercury goes direct, so hold off on making any sudden plans.  In the meantime, ask yourself who your intended audience is.

Gemini:

Venus is activated in your career sector, bringing a spike in opportunities/attention as she squares Jupiter in your sign. You’re in a favourable position, so concentrate on backing up the promises with solid effort and a demonstrated desire to work with the team. The only downfall here will be if you run too far ahead of everyone else. When Mercury retrograde (your ruler) contacts Venus and Saturn, you may revisit a past job offer or work opportunity. It will sound exciting, and most likely has some merit, but hold off on a “yes” until Mercury goes direct; all the facts will not have been presented to you (yet).

Cancer:

Venus stirs things up in your opportunities sector, as you find yourself reaching for and/or attracting some surprising romantic attention or offers involving education, long distance travel or publishing. Invites can come out of nowhere, and when Mercury retrograde and Saturn join in, this can seem like a sure thing. At the very least, you’ll have a clearer idea of what’s possible, and what’s not. Watch for connections that feel fated, or messages from the past. Alternatively, creative goals can get juiced up and promise more exposure, publicity or potential. But as always with Mercury retrograde, the entire chapter hasn’t been written yet. Be receptive to all offers, but know that things can shift on a dime once Mercury goes direct. Enjoy the flirtation or potential, but do some background research. And while you’re at it, check your personal motivations; what you discover may surprise you. Be especially cautious when booking trips or signing legal documents.

Leo:

Venus is activated in your sector of shared resources, bringing some beautiful moments of intimacy, healing and trust. However, there is also a risk of pushing for too much, too soon, or spending what you don’t have (financially or emotionally). The connection with Saturn and Mercury retrograde can slow you down and remind you what your priorities should be. Reminders from family members, or someone from your childhood, may play a significant role. As Mercury retrograde connects with Chiron and gets pushed by Jupiter, you may feel like you’re losing control over the flow of information/ideas (even if the news is hopeful). A way out of your current financial difficulties/debts may present itself as well, but in all cases, take a deep breath and consider your options before you implement any changes. External advice/information may sound promising, but wait until after Mercury goes direct before you sign any financial documents.

Virgo:

Venus is activated in your relationship sector, mixing intense romance, optimism and vulnerability. Live in  the moment, rather than questioning what’s next. When Mercury retrograde (your ruler) and Saturn are added to the mix, you’ll feel a bit more settled with a reassuring dose of reality (even if something is revealed that takes a bit of the shine off ). What’s emerging in your love life is valid; it’s ok to trust, even if you have no idea where it’s going.  As Mercury retrograde continues his reversed movement, watch for more revelations and reassessments; you may hear some wonderful promises from a partner (or someone from your past), but it’s in your best interests to simply listen and consider your options for now.

Libra:

Venus (your ruler) in your sector of work, health and routine can mix duty with pleasure (and blur the boundaries) or see you giving far more than you should. The best use of this energy would be on your personal maintenance (diet, exercise or personal routine) rather than on someone else. But if you find yourself giving, keep in mind the difference between sacrifice and generosity. No matter where your energy goes, Mercury retrograde and Saturn should help keep you in check as you hit a wall/see results and are reminded of what is in your best interests. If you’ve been slacking off or overdoing it when it comes to your health, this influence can put you back on track. Mercury retrograde’s activation of Jupiter and Chiron can keep you busy, over activated and scattered. Watch for mixed messages at work, or from health professionals; this is not the time to seek a definitive solution.

Scorpio:

Venus in your sector of romance and creativity can feel magical, inspirational and over- the- top dreamy. This influence is about letting down your guard, letting someone in,  putting yourself out there, following a dream or creative goal. But Venus’ trine to Saturn (in your sign) along with the conjunction to Mercury retrograde can see you pulling back and questioning what’s happening. As you slow down (and Mercury retrograde continues its movement) you’ll find that your best approach is to allow attention/attraction to come to you. Certain events and meetings can fall into place with an audible “click”; this will be a case of you being in the right place at the right time. This influence can be powerful if you need exposure/publicity for artistic projects.

Sagittarius:

Venus is activated in your sector of home and family, emphasizing domestic concerns, childhood, parents and your past. Events can be hyper-emotional, especially when issues with a partner pump up the drama. Alternatively, it may be a case of too many positive developments hitting you all at once as you relocate, move in, move out or change your relationship status. Watch for Mercury retrograde and Saturn to place a calming hand on matters, as you revisit an issue and discover some inner resilience. Support may also come from unexpected/background sources (at just the right moment). Mercury retrograde will continue to bring up childhood issues and/or reconnections with someone from your past (perhaps an ex partner). Treat all contacts as opportunities to tie up lose ends, rather than lasting events.  If you must sign rental, mortgage or home business documents, double check all details.

Capricorn:

Venus in your communications sector can see you wishing for more, promising more, believing more or missing someone. This influence can make you unusually open; use the increased emotion to your advantage (especially in artistic/creative areas) but be on guard against inflated hopes based nothing but a few words. As Venus contacts Mercury retrograde and Saturn, you may hear from a past lover/crush, or find yourself thinking intensely about them. Alternatively, you may get your answer about whether a current romantic longing is viable (or not). Mercury retrograde can stir up all sorts of nostalgia as you review past conversations. Have you progressed any further since then? This influence is also prime time for revealing secrets (yours and other’s) so if you have something you’d rather keep hidden, be careful what you put out there.

Aquarius:

Venus amplifies your desires for emotional and financial security. It’s all about what works best for you now, although this influence can also see you giving away more than you should. What you stand for may become very fluid, especially when Jupiter in your sector of romance and creativity adds a shot of “don’t care, just enjoy”. Have fun, but use caution. When Mercury retrograde and Saturn are contacted by Venus, you’re liable to get a reality check anyway; you may find yourself reevaluating a relationship, job or lifestyle to see if it truly satisfies your needs. Use this time to consider the future, but don’t make any decisions until after Mercury goes direct.

Pisces:

Venus in your sign ups your magnetism/confidence and pulls attention your way. Watch for “lucky opportunities”, interventions and emotional or financial opportunities. This is your moment to reap some rewards. Mercury retrograde and Saturn can confirm a hope or reignite an opportunity you thought was finished. Saturn can be especially helpful with opportunities involving long distance, education, legal matters or publishing. Mercury retrograde’s energy will help you reconnect, revisit or rethink. Childhood/family matters can be especially potent during this cycle, and there may be some exposure of secrets you only suspected (until now).

Bloody great encapsulation of the week Nadia!

  2. Tatyana says:

I kind of understand everything you are saying, Nadia. Thank you.
It is a first time in my life i am clear on one thing: I understand, that i understand nothing at all. Do not want to act on anything, and not going to. I let everything just happend and all i am going to say to any kind of suggestions, if those are coming,- is: “Yes” or “No”.

    • Nadia says:

It was a lot of information to take in…

      • Tatyana says:

It’s true, a lot of information…if i may say, on some kind of kinetic level.
One part of me want to act, jump in and find out what it is, i am feeling. Another part says: ” It is not necessary to find out, to spend energy on, you already know all the answers, just listen to what your spirit telling you, be calm. But, be ready and alert. Time to act is on horizon”.

  3. Gracie says:

Beautiful painting on top. Was focused on her off the shoulder, puffed sleeves.

That was a lot of info. I had to read it 3 times. I *think* I soaked it all in. Thanks for the Mercury warning — had planned to travel. I can hold it off until April. Very in depth — thanks.

I can’t wait for the end of Pisces season. Says the Virgo rising with many planets in Aries.
