Think about the person who has hurt you the most. This is usually a romantic partner but it could also be a friend or family member. They may not have set out to hurt you (or maybe they did) but the outcome of the relationship left you sick, devastated, angry and vowing "Never again".
The thing about this kind of pain is that it's difficult to let go of. Whether it happened ten years ago or last month it remains fresh. And here's something else; it changes you. It defines how you deal with people. This is not always a bad thing. How else are you going to learn to keep your fingers off the stove? But in some cases it becomes the gauntlet that everyone has to run before they can get close to you.
When we're talking about wounds this deep we're in Chiron territory. Like the planets and what they represent, Chiron (actually an asteroid) has been part of your life from the day you were born. It's been there in your natal chart from day one, flagging the area of your life where you are most vulnerable. No one caused it to happen but chances are that someone who hurts you deeply has activated it. It goes beyond one person and hits on bigger issues like self acceptance, self loathing, lack of boundaries, jealousy, wanting what you can't have, etc.
Transiting Chiron has recently moved into Pisces. The beautiful thing about Pisces is its capacity to heal. Its ruler, Neptune, dissolves pain and anger (and reality, when it's mishandled, but that's a different post). When Pisces is at the top of its game it is THE healing, forgiving sign that transcends all the crap that weighs us down. This is not about burying your head in the sand, it's about really, truly letting go. Forgiving but not forgetting. As the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces is also about endings.
So if the quality of your life is being compromised because you can't move on, the conditions are favorable to change this. Look for the key shaped symbol (Chiron) in your chart. That's your Achilles Heel. Now look at what house Pisces sits in. This is the area of your life where you'll find the tools to heal yourself.
