You know the area of your life that you've always struggled with?
Since day one there's been a deficit in that area. You've had to put in a serious amount of effort to get anything out of it. It's never been easy for you to form/maintain a romantic relationship. It's always been a struggle to earn/hang onto money. Dealing with groups/making friends has been consistently painful.
If you could look at your chart right now and find the house that represents this area I can almost guarantee that Saturn is sitting there. Saturn represents fears, restrictions and boundaries. It is the reason why not. Saturn in the 11th House (friends and groups) restricts the number of people you associate with and makes social interactions formal and strained. You're suspicious of others and they don't warm up to you. You need to prove yourself, over and over. Saturn in the 2nd House (personal resources) means money is always tight, no matter how much you work (and you probably work harder then most). It's not fair.
Except it is fair. Everyone has Saturn in their chart. Everyone...I don't care how successful they appear to be....has an area of hardship in their life. How they deal with that hardship depends on what sign Saturn is in and what aspects it makes to other planets. But it still restricts. It still sets up that baseline feeling of never enough love, money, companionship, skill, brains, talent, whatever.
Even if you don't know what your chart looks like you can still guess what part of your life Saturn dominates. It's the part where you're afraid and you have to work extra hard. This may drive some of you forward. It may depress some of you. But the key here is work because that's where Saturn presents his rewards. Saturn in the 11th House can give you one or two lifelong friends that stand by you no matter what. But you'll have to work to form those friendships and maintain them. Saturn in the 2nd House can give you a deep appreciation for the value of things and a solid financial base. But you'll need to develop rock solid personal values and an iron clad budget.
Saturn is about quality and lifelong commitments. It's about dealing with the certainty that you'll never have enough. But nothing feels better and has more meaning then a Saturn influenced achievement.
