Blue Healer: The Full Moon In Pisces

August 31st brings us this month's second Full Moon (at 8 degrees Pisces). There's no astrological significance to a "Blue Moon", but it is rare because it only happens every 2-3 years.

What is significant is the Moon's separating conjunction from Chiron at 7 degrees Pisces. Full Moons are about completion. Chiron (the Wounded Healer) is about healing your wounds by confronting them. Seems pretty obvious what this Moon is good for.

In case you don't tune into the "letting go" vibe, allow me to repeat that this will be a separating conjunction. The Moon will hit Chiron just before it becomes full. You'll experience a buildup of energy that involves your ickiest feelings/painful doubts/weaknesses/ etc. And then... the Moon will be gloriously full in forgiving Pisces, prompting you to wash all that painful stuff down the drain.

The area of your chart containing Pisces is where you'll get to release the painful stuff. You might have noticed a twinge in this area anyway, because transiting Chiron has been in Pisces since April, 2010. Perhaps this has manifested as niggling insecurities or vague fears. Maybe, in lower-Pisces fashion, you've pretended these fears don't exist. Know that the Full Moon will emphasize what you've been avoiding. So you might as well dive in.

The method of release will depend on what area of your chart this Full Moon lights up. If it's your 12th House, this could involve meditation, dream work or even a literal release from a hospital. If it hits your 3rd House, you might have a come to Jesus talk where you forgive, or are forgiven.

If you have planets between 7-8 degrees Pisces or Virgo, you'll be right in the middle of this influence.
