New Moon in Sagittarius: The Unknown Horizon

December 2nd's New Moon (at 10 degrees Sagittarius) will be a continuation of the energy I wrote about in this post. The Sun/Moon conjunction in Sag will be a couple of degrees past the trine with Uranus in Aries (and the square to Chiron in Pisces) but those energies will colour these New Moon beginnings.

This Moon may be the launch of whatever was brewing between November 28th to December 1st. Or, since New Moon energy has been known to manifest up to 1 week before, some of you may be feeling it already.

New Moons are new chapters, but they are exploratory (it's a dark Moon, so you won't be able to see your path forward). That's just fine, because Sagittarius is the sign of exploration. You're heading out on a journey, and who knows what the destination is? You've got Uranus in Aries to fuel you past those Chiron bumps and bruises. There will be awkward moments, but nothing you can't handle. Note that the square to Chiron can also represent fear of the unknown.

Sagittarius is the sign of freedom. So I like to think you have the freedom to say "no" if you really don't feel like exploring. This isn't a particularly pushy New Moon (despite the Sag energy). Some of you have already expressed the desire to opt out. There's a tendency to hype New Moons as moments of destiny when you must grab X or you'll live to regret it.  Sometimes, you don't want to do anything. If that's your choice, it's all good. However, know that if a new chapter is unfolding, there will be some question marks. Mistakes will be made and there will be embarrassments, but the overall theme is a positive new start.

If you have planets/angles from 8-11 degrees Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo, you'll be most influenced by this Moon.
