I almost didn't want to write this, because there's already so much confusion on how the transiting Nodes and their rulers work.
But in the interests of keeping my readers fully informed...here we go.
If you read other astrology blogs, you may come across two, different dates for the Nodes' entrance into Libra/Aries.
February 18th (which I used in this post) and March 22nd. Yes, some astrologers are saying March 22nd is the date the Nodes will shift into Libra/Aries. Why? Because there are two ways to calculate the Nodes; Mean and True. I won't go into the math, but here's a post by astrologer Steven Forrest that gives you the details.
The True Nodes will enter Libra/Aries on February 18th, but the Mean Nodes will make the shift on March 22nd. I usually go with Mean in my chart calculations, but decided to go with True in this case because the date of the Libra/Aries ingress was significantly earlier.
Which is correct? Both. Yeah, I know. Honestly, astrologers are split 50/50 on Mean versus True. My advice to you is pay attention to any shifts you feel on February 18th, and then on March 22nd. It's the same idea as different house systems (Koch, Placidus, etc). The one that lines up with your life events is the one that works for you.
I'll be sticking with the February 18th date in this blog, but will do a quick post on March 22nd as well.
