The upcoming Full Moon at 22 degrees Sagittarius (late evening June 12th or early morning June 13th, depending on your time zone) is a double-whammy culmination with a side-order of aspects for everyone. It's pared with an exact opposition between Venus in Taurus and Saturn Rx at 17 degrees Scorpio.
This day (and the days leading up to it) will be about results and endings. Sagittarius represents truth/lies, faith, expansion and belief. Venus opposite Saturn can suggest a relationship (Venus) commitment, ending, or a clear indication of what you cannot have. There's an emphasis on rules (Saturn) and Sagittarius also represents legal issues, education or mentors. Graduations or legal contracts could be involved. So could marriage or divorce contracts.
Keep in mind that Mercury (writing, ideas, information) is retrograde, and it rules Gemini (the sign the Sun, opposing this Moon, is in). If you have to sign/decide (and you may have to) don't panic, but don't take the facts for granted. Ask your questions and request proof. Read the fine print.
Venus opposite Saturn is not a light-hearted aspect. Saturn's limits will pin Venus (love, money, self-esteem) to one spot. No wiggle room. If you're hoping for a commitment, this is excellent. But if you're hoping for more and you don't get it...this is the end of the line for that scenario, I'm afraid. Even though Mercury is Rx (which sometimes indicates a shift in choices once it goes direct) the combination of two oppositions in one day feels pretty final.
And...Mars (action) in Libra is building to a hard square with Pluto Rx (at 12 degrees Capricorn) although that aspect won't be exact until June 14th. Still, you'll probably feel the square during this Full Moon. Social/relationship power struggles. Venus also rules Libra (and Saturn rules Capricorn) so there's a real emphasis on wanting to fence someone in with Saturn's limits.
Even if this turns out to be a commitment that both people want, there's bound to be some push/pull.
What's nice is that Saturn will be trining Chiron (Wounded Healer) at 17 degrees Pisces, and Venus will be sextiling Chiron. Chiron will be in harmony with this opposition, which means if you take responsibility (Saturn) for your part in the commitment, the ending, the "No" or whatever finish line you cross, you can deal with the pain/awkwardness/sensitivity (Chiron). Be an adult about it.
If you have natal/progressed planets, angles or Nodes from:
- 21-25 degrees of the Mutable signs, you'll feel the Full Moon most directly and, by extension, the Venus/Saturn opposition and Mars/Pluto square
- 16-20 degrees of the Water signs, you'll feel the trine between Saturn and Chiron
- 16-20 degrees of the Fixed signs, you'll feel the Venus/Saturn opposition
- 11-15 degrees of the Cardinal signs, you'll feel the Mars/Pluto square
There's something for every sign on this day, so even if you're not feeling the Full Moon directly, you'll be hit by one of the other influences.
