Venus enters Pisces on January 27th, shifting the energetic weight from Aquarius to the watery sign of dreams and transcendence. Once Venus makes her ingress, she'll join Neptune, Mars and Chiron. When the Sun ingresses Pisces on February 18th, there will be a significant grouping of six planets (including the Moon) on that day (Mars and Venus will enter Aries on February 19th and 20th respectively).
So we're starting to see a buildup of Pisces energy, which means Pisces in your chart will be the place of peak action from January 27th to February 18th.
Back to Venus in Pisces. She can lose herself in this sign. Love and attraction is idealized and/or delusional. Romance is magical, because it's all possible. Material accumulation matters less, and money can slide away from you like water. Values are fluid. You need a strong sense of who you are and what you want with this transit, because Pisces blurs the lines (especially when Venus encounters Neptune). Making sacrifices for love is easy and tempting. On the other hand, Pisces is fabulous for washing away pain and bitterness.
Venus in Pisces can be as universal as Venus in Aquarius. People forget that Pisces transcends; it's hooked into the awareness of the what lies beyond reality. It's achingly sensitive, but sensitive to everyone. Venus in this sign can spread her attentions in unexpected directions. It feels personal in the moment, but the fact is that Venus in Pisces can feel a connection to almost anyone. Which is what makes this planet/sign combination the most empathetic, healing and magical blend. Because each person that Venus in Pisces encounters matters. She feels their pain, she senses their potential and beauty.
Venus in Pisces attracts, because people are drawn to how they appear in her eyes.
With so much upcoming emphasis on this sign, I thought it prudent to present a cheat sheet of healthy and shadow Pisces. These points can be applied to any planet in Pisces, not just Venus:
- go with the flow
- release expectations
- universal compassion
- wallowing in sadness
Pisces in your chart is where you release, escape or keep secrets. Venus in Pisces is strongly associated with secret crushes or affairs, because Pisces masks the truth with a veil. Scorpio submerges, Cancer locks it away, and Pisces makes it look like something else. Illusion is not always a bad thing; this can be a supremely creative transit. And sometimes it's necessary to hide something from the glaring light of public speculation. Just make sure that what you're holding back is not hurtful because it's being held back.
