Mercury stations direct (at 1 degree Aquarius) on February 11th. Whatever Mercury Rx in Aquarius stirred up will now see forward momentum. If Mercury Rx was the time to reconsider or do the opposite of what was expected, Mercury direct is the time to run with individuated ideas that move beyond reaction. You're not just responding to events, you're taking what you've learned/observed and creating something brand new.
Mercury will be supported by a sextile to Saturn (at 4 degrees Sagittarius) until February 19th, ensuring that plans, information and communication are carefully implemented. This aspect is the best of both worlds; liberation underscored by the recognition of existing rules and limits. Official transitions (Saturn in Sag speaks to legal endings/beginnings) that free you up, or put you on a whole new path. Note that this sextile is one of the hotspots I wrote about here.
This is how I described Mercury/Saturn:
"Saturn in Sag will be sextiled at 1, 3 and 4 degrees. Innovative ideas (Aquarius) will be given structure/form (Saturn) as future ideals (Sag) gain focus. The more you hone in on the big picture/big plans and put them into words, the more creative you'll become. A rare chance to put untried concepts to the test, or give socially disruptive messages a conventional delivery system (easier to swallow)."
This sextile will blend quite nicely with February 18th's New Moon (at 29 degrees Aquarius). A few minutes later, the Sun enters Pisces. February 19th features the ingress of Mars into Aries, followed by Venus (on February 20th). So we're gearing up for another significant energetic shift.
I'll write about the New Moon and Aries ingress closer to the date, but for now, know that Mercury direct is is your chance to clarify intentions/plans or get the word out. It's the build up to the new chapter that will stretch from February 18th to 20th.
Check out this week's horoscopes to see how Mercury direct will impact your sign.
