As I mentioned in this post, there's a New Moon (at 29 degrees Aquarius) coming up on February 18th. It will be part of a significant energetic shift, and we're starting to ramp up now (with Mercury direct).
This New Moon will be in the final degrees of Aquarius, acting as a bookend for the January 20th New Moon, at 0 degrees Aquarius. New beginnings triggered by this Moon may be connected to, or may round out, what happened on January 20th. This Moon makes no major aspects, but it doesn't need to because the moment will be so loaded with significance.
29 degrees of any sign is extra potent. The energy of that sign collects and intensifies, in preparation for a final send off. As we wind down Aquarius season, and all the associated detaching, liberating and rebelling, this new chapter will crackle with concentrated Aquarian energy. Break out, break free and move on.
Two minutes after this New Moon, the Sun will ingress Pisces. And I mean two minutes; the New Moon will occur at 6:47 PM EST, and the Sun will move into Pisces at 6:49 PM. The burst of Aquarian freedom that kicks against the last vestiges of whatever's been holding you back, will propel you into the embrace of Pisces. Pisces can take you higher (transcend your past, your pain, your limits) or lower (dive into addiction, denial, delusion). It's up to you.
Note that Mars will be in the final degrees of Pisces on February 18th. The New Moon will aspect it with a semi-sextile, but I find these aspects pretty weak. What's more significant is Mars' position at 29 degrees. Again, more potency, this time of the Pisces flavour. This ups the potential to dive head first into whatever the New Moon brings, as Mars in Pisces accelerates the pursuit of the dream, or the escape. On February 19th, Mars will ingress Aries, where he will be reborn after his last hurrah in Pisces (Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac, and Aries is the first).
In general, you'll see an electrified jump from one state (how do I fit in/not fit in with society...Aquarius) to another state (I'm starting from scratch...Aries). Pisces will be the conduit; the fluid connector made up dreams, spirituality, sacrifice. As you move from Aquarius to Aries, via Pisces, you say goodbye to what's no longer valid. Pisces is the river that dissolves everything and washes you clean. What used to matter in the context of society (how you rebelled/fit in, how you were an outsider, how you cared/didn't care) will shift. It's entirely possible that what seemed excruciatingly significant will no longer matter after this New Moon.
Mercury in Aquarius will perfect its stabilizing sextile with Saturn in Sag on February 19th, and this should steer you in the right direction. Plan your steps with care, because there's too much at stake to rush forward carelessly.
Venus and Mars will be drawing close in Pisces, but they won't perfect their conjunction until February 22nd (in Aries). Venus will ingress Aries on February 20th. I'll write more about these two tomorrow.
If you have natal or progressed angles, planets or Nodes from 27 to 29 degrees of the Fixed Signs, you'll feel this New Moon most strongly. 0 degrees of the Mutable signs will also be in the zone.
