This Month's Final Shout, and a Preview of March's Wild Ride

Jupiter YodThis month ends with a couple of notable aspects, and they both involve Mercury in Aquarius. February 24th to 25th has Mercury in Aquarius trining the Libra North Node (and sextiling the Aries South Node) at 10 degrees. This is one of the hotspots for Mercury that I discussed in this post. Here's what I wrote about it:

"The North Node in Libra (and South Node in Aries) will be enabled at 13, 12 and 10 degrees. Fresh ideas or messages that help you complete your South Node issues and move forward to the North Node."

This is the last chance (using Mercury in Aquarius) to receive or deliver those North Node messages. There will also be a Grand Air Trine on February 25th, when the Moon in Gemini trines Mercury and the North Node (from 2:47 to 7:08 PM EST). Grand Trines are harmonious circuits of energy that enable things. So February 25th (especially in the time range I listed...make adjustments for your time zone) will be prime for enhanced clarity, understanding, discussions and delivery of info.

Note that the Sun will conjunct Neptune (at 7 degrees Pisces) on the 25th as well, which can enhance clarity: think of the Sun's light piercing the water of a Neptune dream/ideal. What do you see?  Mars in Aries will also trine Saturn (at 4 degrees Sag) on February 25th, providing focus and structure for your actions.

February 25th is the day if you want the truth, or if you need to do/say something that requires focused intent and logic. You'll need that, because....

a Yod has been building since February 17th, and it's peaking from now (February 23rd) to February 27th. It's made up of Chiron (at 16 degrees Pisces) and Pluto (at 14 degrees Capricorn) at the base, both inconjuncting Jupiter Rx, at 14 degrees Leo (the release point). The inconjunct between Jupiter/Pluto will be exact, but Chiron/Jupiter will not (it was exact on February 17th). Chiron and Pluto will support each other, with a nice flow of transformation that arises from the power of pain and healing. Here's what I wrote about Chiron in Pisces sextile Pluto.

The inconjuncts carry the risk of misuse, which creates the tension and power of the Yod: tension focused on one area (the release point) equals tremendous power. Chiron inconjunct Jupiter Rx in Leo pits the need to withdraw and heal (Chiron) against the urge to boldly go there (Jupiter). Misguided optimism/grabs for attention, or ignoring the gold while you focus on the bruise. The Jupiter/Chiron inconjunct also happened on September 23, 3014, at 14 degrees (when Jupiter was direct and Chiron Rx). So it's not news. Jupiter in Leo inconjunct Pluto is also not news. It happened on September 5th, 2014 (at 11 degrees) when Jupiter was direct and Pluto Rx. I wrote about it here :

" It's the gung-ho, give-it-to-me now aspect. Again, Pluto amplifies whatever it touches. In this case, it's Jupiter in Leo's expansive assurance. But the tension of the inconjunct throws in the fear of losing (control, power, status). The net result is Jupiter encouraging Pluto's drive for power, while Pluto intensifies yet undercuts Jupiter."

This time around, Chiron and Pluto are direct and Jupiter is Rx (intensified while looking back, or focusing on one issue). This configuration could be the culmination of the two inconjuncts from September, 2014. Jupiter's intensified expansion or grab for more can be the solution for what's hurting, but you need to be cautious: too much (which is a risk with Jupiter/Pluto) and you'll hurt yourself or someone else. But you still need to reach for the gold ring, or pay attention to what's flaring up in the Leo section of your chart (remember that Jupiter can expand everything, and it may not be pleasant). Even if it's overwhelming or painful, Jupiter Rx's big event is what you need to deal with. The big "thing" that will become obvious will also be your ticket to release.

Although the Yod will peak on February 27th, it will stretch out to March 1st and become a Boomerang Yod, with Mercury (at 14 degrees Aquarius) opposing Jupiter. As I wrote in the weekly horoscopes, this opposition came close (but not exact) on January 21st when Mercury stationed Rx. So March 1st could be the answer/promise that was hinted at around January 21st. In the Boomerang Yod, Jupiter Rx's big explosion bounces back and feeds Mercury, which will put it all into words. Thank goodness you had that Grand Air Trine to get your thoughts sorted, beforehand.

To me, it feels like a final shout that's been building since September, 2014.  And we haven't seen the last of this Jupiter Yod, as it will be reactivated by the Sun in Pisces, from March 3rd to 5th, and Mercury in Pisces, from March 20th to 21st.

If you have natal/progressed planets, angles or Nodes from:

  • 13 to 17 degrees Capricorn, Pisces, Leo or Aquarius, you're in the zone for this Yod
  • 9 to 12 degrees of the Air signs will feel the Grand Trine

There's so much coming up in March (which I'll write about, of course). Here's a few hi-lights:

  • March 3rd to March 5th: the Jupiter Yod triggered again, by the Sun at 14 degrees Pisces
  • March 5th: Full Moon at 14 degrees Virgo
  • March 12th: Mercury enters Pisces
  • March 14th: Saturn stations Rx at 4 degrees Sag
  • March 16th: the final Uranus/Pluto square (15 degrees)
  • March 17th: Venus enters Taurus
  • March 20th: New Moon eclipse at 29 degrees Pisces
  • March 20th: Spring Equinox
  • March 20th to 21st: the Jupiter Yod yet again, triggered by Mercury at 13 degrees Pisces
  • March 30th: Mercury enters Aries
  • March 31st: Mars enters Taurus

Hang on and stay tuned.
