The transiting North Node in Libra is the focal point of a Yod this month, which puts pressure on 9 degrees Libra/Aries in your chart.
I talked about this in yesterday's New Moon post, but the Yod actually starts today, albeit with a slightly different mix of energies. Mars (at 9 degrees Taurus) and Neptune (at 8 degrees Pisces) form tense inconjuncts with the North Node. We have Neptune in Pisces' dreams, made real by Mars in Taurus' actions (Mars and Neptune support each other). So far so good. Mars/Neptune focus their energies on the North Node, which makes it the release, or path forward for your dream/ideal. But Pisces and Taurus don't mix with Libra. Pisces is universal, and Libra is one on one. Taurus is subjective, and Libra is objective. As I suggested in yesterday's post, this could mean difficulty in expressing a personal dream/ideal to someone (a partner), or challenges in making the manifestation of your dream socially acceptable (Libra).
It means so much to you, and you can almost taste it. But you have to find a way to translate it into a language that others will understand.
When Mars is involved, the actions you take may be inappropriate, or misdirected. When Mercury in Taurus takes Mars' place (from April 18th to 19th) the explanations or planning will be awkward. Although Mercury will not be in orb of this Yod until the 18th, I think the shift from Mars to Mercury (explaining your actions) will stretch this Yod out from today (April 13th) to the 19th. Note that the Moon will add emphasis on the 19th, when it conjuncts Mercury.
The South Node in Aries (a situation that's culminating) is always opposite the North Node, so it will play an important part in this Yod as well. Mars rules the South Node, suggesting that the Mars phase of this Yod will directly involve a situation (in Aries) that needs to be wrapped up before you can activate the North Node. Take realistic, gradual (Taurus) steps to do this.
When wrangling a Yod, remember that adjustment is key. Moderate the energy at both ends of the inconjunct, so everything can work together. Honour your dream (Pisces), but don't make it so "out there" that no one can relate to it (Libra). Give it a context that others can hook into. Focus on how you can manifest it (Taurus), but don't get so wrapped up in your own stuff that you forget about your partner, or your audience. When the focal point is in Libra, the energy that's released must be socially acceptable. If you're afraid this will somehow compromise your intentions...well, Libra is the sign of compromise. You're not cheapening yourself, but you do need to acknowledge the give and take of Libra. This Yod is not about shocking everyone into awareness.
From April 19th to the 20th, Venus (ruler of the North Node) in Gemini will square Neptune and trine the North Node. The Yod will be at its peak on these days. Multiple choices and being open to new information (Venus in Gemini) will empower the North Node path. This is social; discuss, discuss, discuss. Get a second opinion. Share your dream. But the confusing square to Neptune is a warning that not all feedback will be honest. And not all sources should be trusted.
How frustrating, right? You're supposed to reach out and interface, but it won't be straightforward. This is where you'll really have to work that Gemini; make correct choices. Not just any old, random choices that look nice. Sift through the information and discriminate. You want ethical, balanced, choices that support the transiting North Node, in the Libra area of your chart.
This Yod will be pinged one more time from April 29th to 30th, when the Sun (at 9 degrees Taurus) takes the place of Mars and Mercury. I don't think the energy of the Yod will stretch out from today to the 30th, but the 29th to 30th may be a brief revisit of whatever peaks on April 19th/20th.
If you have natal or progressed planets, angles or Nodes from 8 to 10 degrees Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Libra or Gemini, you'll feel the above influences most strongly.
