The September 27th Full Moon eclipse (at 4 degrees Aries) has a whole mess of influences around it. The Moon will conjunct the transiting South Node (at 1 degree) and Vesta (at 5 degrees). The Libra Sun will conjunct the North Node, Black Moon Lilith (3 degrees), and Juno (4 degrees).
A Full Moon eclipse in Aries suggests high-powered culminations involving freedom, aggression and self-interest. You've got Vesta (devotion to a sacred flame) adding the theme of absolute devotion to self. Or, something worth fighting for. The South Node suggests that it's time to wrap up that fight, so that fits with the energy of culmination.
But what's happening around the Sun? You've the North Node (your next area of development) and sh*t disturber Black Moon Lilith, pointing at something uncomfortable that needs to be acknowledged, ASAP. And then Juno uniting with the Sun, adding in the theme of partnership power dynamics. Refer back to this post for a refresher on what Juno in Libra is about.
It all feels relationship heavy, but it doesn't have to be a romantic relationship. Any one on one partnership (Libra) is fair game. We can even broaden that theme to self-interest versus cooperation. I do think there will be a show down of some kind, and it may play out in the following ways:
- allegiance to partner/allegiance to self
- flighting for justice/turning a blind eye
Saturn (at 0 degrees Sagittarius) will be trining Aries/sextiling Libra, adding stability to what could be a very volatile situation. Full Moon eclipses always feature heightened emotions, and when you have aggressive Aries and angry BML...well. Saturn will be your sanity touchstone. Your reminder of what's right. Saturn in Sag is about defined ideals, and getting serious about the journey. It's about concrete wisdom.
What's even more interesting; Mars (ruler of Aries) in Virgo will be put through the paces by Saturn (on September 25th) with a square. I'm writing more about that in the future, but the Mars/Saturn square can be viewed as a block or delay that forces you to look at a specific detail (Virgo). Is it being done correctly? Is what's happening "right?"
As crazy as this eclipse may feel, I don't think there will be much room for error. There may be temptation, but only a very narrow path to walk. Note that Mercury in Libra, while not aspecting this eclipse, will be Rx. So lots of going back over what was said, and looking for deeper meanings/considering your options.
If you have anything from 0 to 5 degrees of the Cardinal signs, you'll feel this eclipse most strongly.
