The September 30th/October 1st New Moon (depending on your time zone) takes place at 8 degrees Libra. This is a hopeful Moon, due to its conjunction with Jupiter, at 4 degrees.
New beginnings will be coloured with beautiful shades of expectation. There's a sense of much to look forward to, especially with relationships. All one on one issues (not just romantic) will promise more. But of course, none of this is guaranteed. It's only potential, and it's only the first step. However, you could certainly do worse than this rosy Moon.
The balance may tip in your favour, initially. Everything will look lovely. Time will tell if the promise is met. But if you're starting something on this Moon, there is tons of room for growth. Saturn in Sagittarius (at 11 degrees) will add a supportive sextile, anchoring hopes in reality. Yes, you can work with it. You're not imagining this good thing. Venus (ruler of Libra) in Scorpio will apply to a trine with Neptune Rx, at 9 degrees Pisces (exact on October 1st). This suggests even more expansion, as Neptune whispers that anything is possible. Idealism, romanticism, creativity and compassion will be high.
The fly in the ointment will be the Sun/Moon/Jupiter inconjunct to Neptune Rx. If you're going to miss the boat on this one, it will happen because you overestimate new potentials. Or, your beginning is undermined by extreme swings (always a risk with Libra). For example, you go up in a rush of enthusiasm, but discover that you've over-promised. Or, you've pinned all your hopes on the one thing that doesn't deliver. Then, your balloon deflates. You give up.
Avoid the temptation to overdo it in either direction. To get the most out of this Moon, remember that there is potential - you just need to find your centre, and moderate your impulses. Use Saturn's sober influence. Practice cautious optimism while enjoying whatever this Moon offers.
