You're probably accustomed to certain unpleasant energies in your chart. Everyone has them. For example, the Moon/Saturn square that's cemented over your vulnerabilities with a facade of control. Or, the Mars/South Node conjunction, with its background hum of anger.
You live with these bad guys, and you know them. Or do you? How about learning to work with your challenging natal aspects, rather than just living with them? Anyone can become comfortable with their personal dark cloud. But looking at how you can make the ugliest stuff in your chart work for you is a next-level skill.
It involves three steps:
- The willingness to approach your weak spot/anger/fear etc. in a new way
- The ability to see positive potential in the challenging aspects
- The initiative to act on that positive potential
If you've read even one astrology blog or book, you're familiar with the idea that all energies have a positive and negative side. It's not a revolutionary concept - figure out the upside of your most difficult aspect. For Moon/Saturn, it might be instinctive discipline and responsibility. You're the adult, and you have gut-level authority. Mars/South Node can be a natural mover and shaker. You make things happen.
Before you can work with the positives, you need to own the negatives. Do the therapy, the purge or amputation. Then, you'll be ready to look at your "dark cloud" in a whole new light. You might as well, because it's not going away. You can't delete parts of your personality. Why not integrate all of it? If you're not sure where to start, pick the thing you like least about your chart.
