The September 19th (10:29 PM PDT) or September 20th (1:29 AM EDT) Virgo New Moon (27 degrees) features an opposition to Chiron Rx in Pisces. This will be a complicated Moon, defined by what's missing or broken.
The wound will be there, emphasized by a new development that features a supposed solution. But when does a solution make it worse? When you struggle to fix something that can't be fixed. When you struggle to fill a void that can't be filled. Chiron's wounds never vanish - acceptance is the path to healing, and the weak spot remains.
This will be a struggle for Virgo, because only pure perfection is acceptable. And yet, the challenge of this Moon will be to accept that it's not perfect. It's not going to be neatly wrapped up. So you'll have to make the best of things, while embracing the messy moment or itchy sense that you don't have everything you need.
This Moon will follow a Yod. Here's an excerpt from next week's horoscopes:
"September 15th to 19th brings a Boomerang Yod with Chiron Rx as the focal point. Chiron makes awkward inconjuncts to Venus and the North Node in Leo (what you want) and Jupiter in Libra (expansion), suggesting that positive developments will trigger painful vulnerabilities. The hopeful promise may trigger reminders of something uncomfortable. The Virgo Sun opposes Chiron Rx (exact on September 19th). This is the boomerang part of the Yod- Chiron’s energy bounces back into Virgo (the solution). Easy enough, except that Chiron’s wounds are not neatly erased.
The September 19th/20th Virgo New Moon, will not be part of the Yod (Venus will have exited Leo a few hours before this Moon) but it will feature the Sun/Chiron opposition. So this Moon will present a "fix" - a solution after the Yod has passed."
The New Moon's solution won't be straightforward. Maybe part of the fix will be the acceptance that you were wrong - you acknowledge the error, then move forward. Mercury (ruler of this Moon) will make an exact opposition to Neptune Rx in Pisces on September 19th, which will challenge hard logic. You'll be left with doubt, and you'll have no choice but to let go of a cherished certainty. In the process, your concept of what's right will expand. Now, there's a danger of blurred reality and sacrificing what's correct for what's easier. It will be tricky to find a balance between healing release and blind delusion. Tread carefully.
This Moon also makes an inconjunct to Uranus Rx in Aries. This will create urgency. There may be a panicky scramble to react ASAP and make it all better. But you won't be able to make it all better. You'll have to react, yes. But you'll have to do so thoughtfully, without losing sight of the details. And, without straining to make it perfect.
As I said, it's a complicated Moon. To sum up: identify the key problem, keep your eye on the details, then work to maintain a balance between doing the best you can and accepting that you can only do so much.
