I know a few people who have been single for quite a while and they are not happy about it. I did a quick comparison of their charts and discovered a theme. They all have planets in the late degrees (25 to 29) of Leo.
The first thing that popped into my head was, "What planet has been hitting Leo?" Transiting Neptune may have moved out of Aquarius (Leo's opposite sign) in April but I believe the lions are still feeling this opposition. And not in a good way.
First of all, Neptune has started moving backwards (retrograding) and will dip into Aquarius again around August, 2011. It will go direct in November but won't be clear of Aquarius (and Leo) until February, 2012 (there will be more retrograding but it will stay in Pisces).
So if your Sun is in the late degrees of Leo (you were born between August 18th and August 23rd) you'll still be experiencing Neptune's energy. Same deal if you have any planets or angles in late Leo. The fun probably started around March 2009 (or sooner if you have planets in mid to early Leo).
Neptune oppositions suck. They build up an impossible dream that feels so real and looks so perfect. But then the bubble bursts and there is nothing more painful then waking up from a Neptune dream. Unrequited love, a partner who cheated on you, a lover who was totally not who they appeared to be... this probably dragged on forever. Neptune does not favor quick, painless endings.
The good news is that you'll be free and clear of this influence next year. For good. Neptune moves very slowly and will not return to Aquarius in your lifetime. The bad news? There isn't any. You learned a thing or two about expectations and inflated fantasies. That uncharacteristic doubt will fade and you can burn like a supernova. The way you're meant to.
Just remember what you've learned and they can't ever hurt you again.
