Why It's Tough To Be Libra Now

It's not fun being a Libra right now. This sign is getting pummeled pretty hard, and I'm not talking about Saturn's transit (although this has its own challenges). If you have planets between 0 and 6 degrees Libra you'll be getting hammered by Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn. If you have planets in the later degrees of Libra, your turn is coming.

Libra likes everything to be balanced, peaceful and harmonious. The current opposition from Uranus is yanking the chain of Libra folks and forcing them to step outside their comfort zone. At the same time, the square from Pluto is stirring up all sorts of obsessive, control freak impulses.

What's the point? Both of these planets represent change. Uranus wakes you up by showing you what else is out there. Pluto goes to work underneath, churning up all the fears, doubts and obsessions that have been holding you back.  By the time these two transits are over you can bet that anyone who's experiencing them will be unrecognizable.

Best way to deal?  Let go, especially if you're hanging onto someone or something that's trying to get away. Uranus (new) in Aries (beginnings) and Pluto (transformation) in Capricorn (status quo) want you to step up. You'll have to confront something as well, whether it's an external entity or inner demons. This is serious change we're talking about, not just cosmetic alterations.

And a word to those who see these two transits coming down the pike: you probably know what needs to change. There's nothing that says you must wait until a transit hits before you set the wheels in motion. If you can get on it now, it's a guarantee that the transits will be much less disruptive.
