There's a mixed bag of influences surrounding the upcoming New Moon (on June 8th at 18 degrees Gemini). I think they're all good.
The wonderful Grand Water Trine will peak the day before. You'll have that soothing, healing energy to push off from. You'll be coming from a place of calm, into this scattered but very interesting New Moon. Mars (energy) and Jupiter (optimism) in Gemini will be on either side of this Moon. Not close enough to be conjunct, but you'll feel their energy. Mars will push, and Jupiter will expand. Ask for more, say more, learn more.
Gemini is about information, communication and choices. This will be a chatty New Moon. What begins will be excitable, fast-paced and will probably open your eyes to some intriguing bits of information. Mercury (Gemini's ruler) will be in Cancer, and will be hitting Uranus (the planet of surprise) in Aries with a tense square. So what you find out may catch you off guard. Or the introduction/new beginning will contain some friction. But I'm not worried about this one, itchy aspect. To me, it feels more like "That's fascinating and bit uncomfortable" than "Ouch". Just remind yourself to stay flexible, and be open to more than one possibility. Or have a backup plan. Gemini is also about doubles, so somewhere in there you may have to deal with fluctuating options.
If you want to set some intentions on this New Moon, consider how you talk/listen/write and multitask. How open are you to new ideas? How are your communication skills? How do you react when life throws a couple of options at you? What are your decision making skills? Writing down your intentions will be especially powerful, because Gemini is the writer's sign.
If you have planets/angles from 16-18 degrees Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces or Virgo, you'll feel this Moon most strongly.
