The next major event is a New Moon on August 6th, at 14 degrees Leo.
It will pack a punch. New Moons equal new beginnings, and in the attention-grabbing sign of Leo, you can expect the beginnings to have a lot of fanfare. Not just a new start, but AN ANNOUNCEMENT. Really nice if you want to launch something that needs an audience.
But Leo also means drama. This will be amplified by the opposition between Jupiter (expansion and expectations) at 9 degrees Cancer, and Pluto (power) in Capricorn. The aspect will be very close to exact (it will peak on August 7th). You'll have the big, emotional push (Jupiter in Cancer), expecting more of everything to meet tremendous needs. And it will be challenged by implacable power (Pluto in Capricorn). Oppositions to Pluto can intensify (to the point of obsession). So there's a set up for huge wants/needs. If the Big Guy/external authority says "No", it will only increase the sense of "I need it now."
With this much energy, there's tons of potential. You can start/promote/dive into something where enthusiastic passion is needed. Just be aware that expectations (of whatever starts on this New Moon) will probably be out of proportion to reality. So make sure you're at least in the running to meet those expectations. And if they're your hopes that are driving the bus...keep one foot on the brake. So much can be accomplished, but make sure that your personal security needs/desire for approval are not pushing you to expect more than others can provide.
Key phrases to guide you on this New Moon:
- Who is your audience and what do you expect from them?
- Can you meet your audience's expectations? Are you sure?
- What do you need from others, and what happens if you don't get it all?
If you have planets/angles from 12-14 degrees Leo/Aquarius or 8-9 degrees Cancer/Capricorn, you'll feel this New Moon most intensely.
