The upcoming New Moon on October 4th (at 11 degrees Libra) has received some bad press due to its opposition to Uranus retrograde (at 10 degrees Aries) and square to Pluto (at 9 degrees Capricorn).
Uranus and Pluto bring big change. Pluto digs up buried issues, Uranus illuminates and/or blows them away. Libra loves things to be pretty (or polite, or nice), but that veneer is going to be impossible to maintain on this New Moon. The candy coating is going to crack. That doesn't mean things have to get ugly. But whatever starts on this Moon will be honest. Is honesty ugly? That depends on how you feel about the truth.
Underlining this truth theme is Mercury's conjunction to the North Node in Scorpio, on October 5th. Back in 2012, Mercury passed over the Scorpio North Node on October 25th and November 17th. The theme is the same now, as it was then; a truth that pushes you forward. And that truth will be directly tied to this New Moon.
Mercury in Scorpio verbally/intellectually goes for the jugular. The more you try to gloss over what needs to be spoken about, the more ruthless this influence can be. So no matter what this New Moon brings, accept that it's real, even if that reality pushes you off balance.
And then use that truth to get on with your life, because everything about this influence points forward.
If you have planets/angles from 10-12 degrees Aries, Libra, Capricorn, Cancer, or 4-5 degrees Scorpio, you'll feel these influences most strongly.
