Scorpio power is increasing. The Sun enters this sign on October 23rd, and I've already written about Mercury retrograde in Scorpio's cave-diving agenda.
Plus, there's Saturn and the transiting North Node in Scorpio. What do you do when a concentration of energy settles in a scarily intimate sign? You get cozy with the shadows. The area of your chart with Scorpio is being activated, and that part of your life is going to get real (if it hasn't already). The Sun will just add extra juice to what's been happening. Its trine to idealistic Neptune (at 2 degrees Pisces) from October 23rd to 25th will initially soften things up, but you won't be able to wriggle away from the intensity.
Scorpio is ruthless, so you really do need to work with it, or else. That means be honest, be intimate, be courageous. Courage and intimacy go hand in hand, because what's more frightening than getting naked (and I don't just mean physically) with someone? Even if you're alone, Scorpio demands that same intimacy with your desires and fears (sometimes they're the same).
The Scorpio-occupied area of your chart is where the extremes are. Something's either blossoming with ferocious intent, or it's dead. As the Sun moves through this area, here's a quick way to ascertain its health; is there an emphasis on what's vibrantly evolving, or is it full of decaying relationships/jobs/lifestyles/fixations/habits? There's always death with Scorpio, but something should grow from the ashes. Transiting Saturn is your scythe, you know. You can use its edge of denial to clear away what doesn't matter (what's dead) and focus on what's left. What has growth potential.
The Sun will transit Scorpio until November 21st.
