The end of this month is shaping up to be significant.
There's a New Moon (new beginnings) at 10 degrees Aquarius, the sign of liberation and inspiration for the future. It will sextile Uranus (Aquarius' ruler) at 9 degrees Aries, giving this Moon an extra shot of risk-taking. What begins (in the section of your chart that holds 10 degrees Aquarius) will be fresh, exciting and possibly unplanned. Your leap forward.
But this New Moon will hit Jupiter Rx (at 12 degrees Cancer) with a tense inconjunct. This suggests that your new start will bump up against the Jupiter/Pluto opposition in Cancer/Capricorn. These two signs want security and solid evidence of more. Jupiter/Pluto is amping that up, but the New Moon in Aquarius will be about detaching, and travelling light. The inconjunct means you can't ignore one in favour of the other. Somehow, you need to make an adjustment. Keep nurturing what's happening in the Cancer/Capricorn part of your chart, but make room for that new development in Aquarius. Remember that Jupiter is retrograde, as is Venus in Capricorn, suggesting re-evaluation.
Perhaps part of that evaluation will involve making room for what doesn't fit with your current definition of security. As we approach the New Moon in Aquarius, consider if there is anything you can let go of. You're not leaving everything behind, just adjusting your idea of what you need.
And the next day (January 31st) the Jupiter/Pluto opposition will be exact and Venus will go direct. Perfect for moving ahead with your newly adjusted outlook. Overall, this is an unusual opportunity; you get to explore new territory (Aquarius) and build on what's been in the works (Cancer/Capricorn). Just remember to honour both.
Mercury will enter Pisces (also on January 31st), but I'll write about this tomorrow.
If you have planets/angles from 8-11 degrees Aquarius, Scorpio, Leo, Taurus or Aries, you'll feel this New Moon most strongly.
