This post is a shout-out to those of you with natal Jupiter aspecting Chiron, in your charts.
It's a mixed blessing, in every sense. Jupiter brings the gifts, the luck, the optimism. Chiron is where you hurt, feel weak, get repeatedly kicked. When these two are in contact, fabulous strokes of luck can illuminate pain, or pain can lead to blessings (in disguise). One is never free of the other, and life can be a bruised and glorious dance of ups and downs. This combo is often seen in the lives of people who suffer constant mishaps, but end up with "lucky breaks."
While it's true that Chiron's oft-repeated tag line of "teacher" can help (you can teach others by floating up through the pain!) sometimes you just want happiness without the side dish of anguish. You just want something good, for yourself. Is that too much to ask?
Well, yes. With Chiron and Jupiter in aspect, the silver lining is always going to be shot through with lead. Or is it the other way around? It's both, actually. What hurts will uplift you, and vice versa. One thing you can count on...even when things are at their worst, you'll find an out, or a guardian angle. Jupiter's got your back.
What can you do with Jupiter/Chiron?
- Help others, via what you've been through (you're their guiding light...really)
- Find the blessing in the mixed blessing
- Travel into the land of What Hurts with a guardian (Jupiter); if anyone can decide that they're ok, despite the sh*t that life has served up, it's you
