Chiron (Wounded Healer) stations retrograde (reversed) at 17 degrees Pisces, on June 20th. Transiting Chiron pokes and prods different areas of your chart, via the house it's moving though and any natal planets it's aspecting. It makes you aware of certain sensitivities. The house that it's transiting through is the area of your life where those awkward/doubtful/painful moments are originating from.
If you look under "Chiron" in the Categories section on this blog, you'll find multiple articles.
Chiron Rx will emphasize 17 to 13 degrees Pisces. This is the area in your chart where you might be confronted, yet again, with that old hurt. Who wants to go through that? No one. But if it gets pinged one more time, there's a reason. Actually, it will be two more times, because when Chiron goes direct on November 23rd (at 13 degrees) it will activate those degrees. Again. You see my point; this is unfinished business.
You may feel this (especially if you have natal or progressed planets/Nodes/angles from 18 to 12 degrees of the Mutable signs). You may not feel it at all, if you have nothing around those degrees. 18 to 12 degrees of the water signs will be trined by Chiron, which means enabled healing. The emphasis is on the healing, rather than the wound. Meaning, it will be easier to deal with what hurts, because it may not hurt as much as you think. Or you'll find a ready source of compassion/empathy. Or...it just won't be that big of a deal.
Pisces is Everything and Nothing, simultaneously. As the final sign of the Zodiac, it is a blend of all the other signs. Hence its association with transcendence and connection to the Source (the Ultimate Other/Higher Power, or whatever you believe is out there). But while Pisces hints at the ultimate connection, it dissolves our attachments to the mundane. Just when you think you have a lock on Pisces, it slides out of view. This quality is what gives Pisces its healing energy. When Everything and Nothing matters, what's the point of clinging to grudges, resentments or fears?
Now add Chiron, whose wound never completely heals. You don't erase Chiron's hurt, you accept it and move forward. It becomes part of you. Transiting Chiron in Pisces can bring up various issues:
- lack of faith/spirituality
- the pain of believing/hoping
- being alone/isolated/disconnected
- the pain of having your logic dissolved
- fear of the unknown
Some people cling to fears/bitterness/heartbreak/failure because those things are familiar. They replay the feeling or the argument. Chiron in Pisces asks that you forgive, but not forget. Stop playing the same song, even as you make that song part of your library.
