The 6 of Cups is associated with the Sun in Scorpio.
This is the card of innocence and childhood. Nostalgia for the past. If you pull this card, it's describing something that comes from the past, or a feeling of sweetness. Sometimes it actually indicates the return of someone you knew long ago.
This doesn't seem to fit with Scorpio's dark, sexy pull. But if we look beyond Scorpio's association with sex, we see that this sign is about preservation. It shares this trait with Taurus, its opposite sign, except Scorpio is interested in an exchange of resources (you can see the exchange happening on the card).
At its highest, Scorpio protects and shares what is valuable. And that's what the 6 of Cups is about: the preservation of love and the positive exchange of emotions, based on what you already know. Sharing what has positive resonance, and knowing where the good stuff is.
If this card is reversed, it means the idealized past relationship/memory was not so hot. Bad nostalgia, or tainted memories.
