I'm posting about the next Full Moon a bit earlier than usual ( I haven't forgotten about the July 15th New Moon), but I think it's important to have a heads up, considering its significance.
The July 31st Full Moon (at 7 degrees Aquarius) will be the second Full Moon in one month. The Capricorn Full Moon took place on July 1st, thus bracketing this month with two Full Moons. There are various debates about the spiritual significance of two Full Moons, but overall, I think it just indicates a month that's more intense than usual. Full Moons are energetic high points, and having two high points in a relatively short period of time suggests an accelerated need to understand or resolve.
Aquarius is the sign of the liberator, the anarchist, and the individual. That's appropriate for ending this month with a bang. It's not making any major aspects, so it's almost pure, undiluted clarity (doubly so because of the illuminating light of a Full Moon). It suggests seeing things as they are, because Aquarian energy separates you from the group/the issue, so you become aware of how you fit (or don't fit). The Leo Sun will be inconjuncting Neptune Rx (in Pisces) indicating that higher ideals won't quite mesh with what's actually happening. Hence, the clarity of this Aquarian Moon; it will spotlight the disconnect between your dreams and reality.
This Moon could feel a bit harsh. Picture an overhead, fluorescent light revealing what the candlelight made beautiful. What's revealed could still be beautiful, but it will be the beauty of absolute clarity. A few hours after this Full Moon, Venus Rx will reenter Leo from Virgo, suggesting that this clarity will involve relationship/money/self-esteem issues. Looking beneath the Leo shine for substance.
That's a lot of illumination hitting Leo. Not the usual glam spotlight...more like an examination light.
If you have natal or progressed planets/angles/Nodes from 5 to 9 degrees of the Fixed signs, or Pisces, you'll feel this Full Moon most strongly.
