As if September 17th didn't have enough going down, transiting Juno will enter Libra on this day.
This is the "marriage asteroid" based on the myth of Juno, who remained faithful to Jupiter/Zeus, no matter how many times he cheated on her. She is about committed partnerships. But Juno often took revenge on the mortal women who caught Zeus' eye. She was (understandably) angry, insulted and jealous. And yet, she stuck by him.
So Juno is also about the power dynamics in a committed relationship. This becomes especially pertinent in Libra, where power is often given away or projected. This transit of Juno will hi-light any relationship areas where a power imbalance exists. Who are you giving your loyalty to?
Juno will meet up with Black Moon Lilith on September 26th (at 3 degrees) which should be an interesting union of dangerous woman/good wife. Perhaps a showdown between two people, or a prompt to unify those conflicting urges within yourself. As I explained in this Sasstrology post, no sign does alchemical fusion better than Libra. A BML/Juno conjunction suggests that both sides needs to be explored, and developed. BML/Juno will also be part of the Aries Full Moon eclipse, on September 27th (there's a post coming up).
Juno will exit Libra on December 10th, 2015.
