The December 13th Full Moon (22 degrees Gemini) is a complex one.
The Moon opposes Saturn, suggesting this culmination will involve an enforced choice. But Uranus Rx/Ceres in Aries aspect Sun/Saturn and the Moon, so it won't be completely restrictive. Within the limits of the choice, there will be room to accommodate the rebirth of an issue involving freedom, individuality or innovation. Jupiter in Libra opposes Uranus/Ceres and aspects the Moon and Sun/Saturn, so there will also be an unbalanced push or rush to accomplish- perhaps the choice will surprise everyone.
The Moon and Sun/Saturn square Chiron in Pisces, suggesting this culmination will have its painful moments. The choice may not be a happy one, and maybe the act of choosing will make you uncomfortable. And yet, you'll have to choose, answer, sign, commit or say goodbye. Fortunately, Jupiter is strongly aspected, so even in the midst of your discomfort, there will be something to look forward to. Jupiter's inconjunct to Chiron means you'll have to juggle expansion with vulnerabilities, which will be triggered by expansion. Not fun, but not impossible.
If you look at the chart of this Moon, you'll see it forms a rectangle (I've only included the planets/asteroids involved in the configuration). This is known as a Mystic Rectangle, consisting of two oppositions tied together by trines and sextiles. The light of the Full Moon and the flash of Jupiter/Uranus will illuminate something. This illumination will be harsh, due to the tension of the oppositions. But the harmony of the trines and sextiles gives you information to work with it.
This Mystic Rectangle actually gifts you with the best of both worlds - limits that focus the erratic potential of Jupiter/Uranus. And even though Saturn =final, this is a Gemini Moon, and Jupiter/Uranus is stirring things up with last-minute luck, fate, or surges of inspiration. Gemini always has more information and multiple layers. So this ending will not be cut and dried.
Basically, this Full Moon will ask you to make the uncomfortable choice, and then find the freedom within the limits. There will be room for growth and hope - you'll just have to integrate it into this reality. There's rebirth (Ceres) after the ending.
This Full Moon is part of the Jupiter/Saturn/Uranus configuration I wrote about here.
