There's a Sagittarius New Moon (at 26 degrees) coming up on December 17th at 10:30 am PST/December 18th at 1:30 am EST. It conjoins Saturn at 29 degrees, squares Chiron in Pisces at 24 degrees and trines Uranus Rx in Aries at 24 degrees.
I've written about Mercury in Sagittarius' repeated activations of Saturn, Chiron and Uranus in the following posts:
I suggest reading these posts if you want the details about what this New Moon will be about.
If you want to skip the above details...this will be a new beginning based on a review of the rules, or repeated confrontations with reality (Saturn). There will be painful (Chiron) understandings/conversations, with some help from Uranus in the form of innovation or inspiration. Faith, expansion and truth (Sagittarius themes) may be challenged. The seeds were planted around November 24th, and Mercury Rx's delays/questions will feed into this Moon, even though Mercury is not aspecting it.
Note that Pallas Rx in Aries stations direct on December 17th at 25 degrees, so she's involved with this Moon. Her proximity to Uranus, and her forward movement, suggest that explosive or surprising strategies will be part of the picture. This chapter may be fuelled by a bold plan to fight. It won't be new, but it will be reenergized. Maybe this will be your second wind, as you deal with heavy limits and constant reminders of the wound.
This Moon feels very Saturn to me, although it's ruled by Jupiter. Saturn's proximity will dampen Sagittarius' enthusiasm and add focus to these new beginnings. Options may be limited, and remembering that Mercury will not station direct until December 22nd, you may not see any progress, initially. But it's all part of the process that began on November 24th (Mercury's first square to Chiron).
Note that Saturn exits Sagittarius for Capricorn on December 19th, so this New Moon also feels like Saturn's last hurrah in Sag - new goals/plans will be put in place, and then the energy immediately shifts as you're pushed to get serious and make them visible (Capricorn). And on December 20th/21st, Venus in Sagittarius will square Chiron/trine Uranus (and Pallas), so that pain will still be triggered, along with the constant thread of encouragement to keep looking forward (Uranus).
Not to mention that December 21st is the Winter Solstice. The longest night will be sharply defined by the Sun/Saturn conjunction (I'll write a separate post on this).
So really, this New Moon will not start off with a bang (despite Uranus/Pallas and the Sag influence). It will be a slow, steady and frustrating process that extends through the rest of December, and possibly up to January 6th, 2018 (Mercury in Sagittarius' last square to Chiron).
As always, when you're dealing with Saturn your best bet is to do the work. The extra responsibilities, the burdens, the restrictions - you can't avoid them. That point in the distance that you're trying to get to may seem impossibly far, but just take it one step at a time. Focus on the slice of the big picture (Sagittarius) that's demanding your attention. And, know that you've got Uranus/Pallas on your side, with a fresh plan of attack.
