Pisces season begins on February 18th. The Sun moves into the sign of dreams, spirituality, surrender and belief. Loss is hi-lighted, but so is expansion. When you let go, new possibilities come flooding in. You make room for more. This is the sign of allowing. Events happen naturally, and if you're open to it, you will sense that flow. What's ready to pass will fall away, and what's ready to arrive will come to you. You can't force it. There's no proof or logic. It just happens because it's time.
Weakness associated with this sign is a result of escapism or delusion. Boundaries are not a Pisces strength. Sensitivity is. But when sensitivity is distorted, the desire to run away becomes overwhelming. Reality is temporarily sacrificed, then reasserts itself. The crash is painful. This is not a confrontational sign, but the Sun's passage may emphasize your illusions. Imagine what happens when sunlight burns away the mist, and you'll have an idea how this might go down.
There are two sides to every sign. For Pisces, those sides are helplessness and transcendence. You can helplessly allow yourself to drift, deceive, be used or give up. But if you transcend the fears/poisonous messages that are keeping you locked in the illusion of helplessness, you gain tremendous freedom and peace. Helplessness is a lie - part of the illusion that keeps you sedated. You may not have control over externals, but you can choose to do things differently for yourself. There's a line between allowing yourself to be undermined and allowing yourself to let go of what's undermining you. Maybe all it takes is choosing to mute certain stories on social media. Or letting go of the lover/friend who drains you. Or believing that you're going to be ok, and just sitting with that feeling.
What if you're going to be ok?
The Sun's ingress is marked by a square to Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius. The tension of the square will prod Lilith forward (as if she needed any encouragement) and the crusade for vengeance, or the sexual wild hunt, will start off with a bang. But the Pisces/Sag mix is not your typical fire. This is the heat of newly-discovered freedom, fuelled by blind faith or delusion. There's no logic, only belief. Too, there may be some victim dynamics, with BML as the persecuted witch.
Pisces season is also marked by a New Moon eclipse - fluid new beginnings. But first, the Sun's activation of the South Node beforehand will illuminate a completion. This is a perfect illustration of what Pisces is about: let it go and make space for something new. The Sun will also light up a Pisces stellium, as it conjoins Neptune, Mercury, Chiron and Pallas. This area of your chart has something brewing - what do you need to release or accept? Maybe there's something to dive into, and you have to trust that you're ready for it.
