A few tips on dealing with the current Venus/Saturn square. Or, any hard aspect (square, opposition, conjunction, inconjunct) that transiting Saturn is making to your chart.
You're going to be pressured. The pressure (the squeeze) is coming from the house transiting Saturn is moving through. The planet/point (hit by Saturn) is what's being squeezed. Even if you're getting something you want, there will be extra responsibilities that limit you in some way.
How to deal? Saturn always has work for you to do. The type of work will depend on your chart, but know that you're being asked to put in extra effort.
Something needs your full attention. You need to take responsibility or you need to draw boundaries or you need to end something. You know what it is, because when you think about it, you feel tired and overwhelmed. You don't want to. And you probably have to handle this one by yourself, even if you're surrounded by supportive folks. Saturn is not about reaching out to others.
This task is onerous, but not because of the hard Saturn aspect. The hard Saturn aspect is there to make you uncomfortable, so you have no choice but to deal with this. Transits don't cause issues - they draw your attention to what's already in your life. The harder the transit, the more important it is that you do your work/let go/change, etc.
When confronted by transiting Saturn, try the following:
- focus on what's being limited
- consider your responsibilities in the matter
- ask yourself what extra work (internal or external) is needed to deal with these limits
Saturn's rewards manifest int the future. And so do the consequences, if you ignore the task Saturn has set out for you. You may not see it in the moment, but if you do your work now, you'll be grateful later on.
