- Mercury in Leo inconjunct Neptune Rx in Pisces: 14 degrees
- Mercury in Leo sextile Jupiter in Libra: 14 degrees
The Yod between Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune (discussed here) intensifies as Mercury's aspects become exact. Mercury/Jupiter indicates bold, happy words that are well-received. The story is convincing because it's told with flare.
But Mercury's inconjunct to Neptune spells trouble. What sounds so good could be a half-truth or miscalculation. Jupiter and Neptune are also connected by an inconjunct (although it was exact on July 5th) which can create hopes that slide off in some odd directions.
Neptune is the culprit here, and the focal point of this configuration. This means Jupiter/Mercury's wonderful idea must be funnelled through Neptune's energy. Yods are challenging to begin with, and a Neptune focal point is especially frustrating - the more you attempt to articulate, convince or focus, the more elusive your goal becomes.
As I wrote in this week's horoscopes, Neptune asks you to "...take it higher and make it about something that's not just about you." Whatever the initial idea is, your end game should involve transcending that idea. Help others, make it selfless, make it compassionate. If this involves a creative work, it can reach a huge audience if the words tap into a universal truth. Everyone will resonate with it, because the truth will be undeniable (but not logical). You're going beyond the facts.
An attitude of release is necessary - release and belief. Release the words and believe that they will be heard by the correct audience. When you pray (if you pray) do you expect instant feedback? Probably not. If you're working with this Yod, let it be your prayer.
