- Mercury Rx in Leo inconjunct Pluto Rx in Capricorn (19 deg)
- Neptune Rx in Pisces opposite Ceres in Virgo (15 deg)
Mercury/Pluto illustrates the incompatibility between words and power. There's a drive for attention (Leo) via communication, but the discordant (and probably unconscious) expression of power can make what's said or written far stronger than you realize. You will get attention with this aspect, but definitely not the attention you anticipated. Words will dominate.
As always with Pluto, you want to be conscious of the deeper motivations. Don't operate on automatic pilot.
This is a repeat aspect, so the issue is not a new one:
- July 16th: Mercury inconjunct Pluto Rx (19 deg Capricorn)
- August 5th: Mercury Rx nconjunct Pluto Rx (19 deg Capricorn)
- August 29th: Mercury inconjunct Pluto Rx (19 deg Capricorn)
Neptune/Ceres can dissolve an area of nurturing (the sacrifice) or suggest an impossible nurturing ideal (the perfect mother). Caution must be applied regarding what or who you're taking care of, because this opposition can indicate an unreachable goal, regarding care. This brings to mind the "ideal" mother/nurse who sacrifices all for her charge. But in reality, how achievable is this? And is it healthy?
You can't effectively care for someone if you're compromised. And if you're projecting patient/nurse issues onto someone...check yourself. Projections (always an issue with oppositions) are about you, not them.
Mercury rules Virgo, so this connects the two aspects. Is there a power play lurking in the works? Are you attempting to dominate (or are you being dominated) via care/nurturing? This is a sneaky influence, but you can dominate someone by being their "nurse." Or by making the "sacrifice."
