First Quarter Square between the Taurus Moon and Aquarius Sun (23 deg)
Vesta in Pisces square Ceres in Sagittarius (5 deg)
The First Quarter Square brings a crisis between liberation (Aquarius) and routine (Taurus). What’s new and unusual may now feel a bit too crazy and you may encounter a block that forces you to slow down.
This square is the “crisis in action” aspect so forward movement is still necessary, but in this case it’s movement of a different kind. Rather than floating above the issue and exploring the theoretical what ifs, it’s time to come down to earth and take slow, solid steps. This might feel a bit dull, but it’s necessary so you can ground yourself.
The square between Vesta (devotion) and Ceres (nurturing) tells us a bit more about today’s tension. Vesta in Pisces wants to withdraw and contemplate while Ceres in Sag wants to overwhelm with expansive care and protection. Vesta in Pisces is pure and spiritual (or magical) while Ceres in Sag can trample over sensitivities in the rush to nurture (and the rush to do what’s best).
Consider how the dynamics of withdrawal versus nurturing are playing out now - there could be a crisis of faith around mothering or care for someone who is ill (perhaps they don’t want help or require a different kind of nurturing).
