- Mercury in Leo inconjunct Neptune Rx in Pisces (15 deg)
- Venus in Libra square Pluto Rx in Capricorn (19 deg)
Mercury/Neptune is confidence undermined by doubts or illusion. Bold words or public statements will be easily influenced by deception, wishful thinking or suspicions. It may be difficult to figure out exactly whose idea is in the spotlight.
Confirm the facts and make an extra effort to focus and clarify when you're speaking. Treat suspicions or dreamy hopes with the same amount of scepticism.
This is a repeat aspect (not a new situation):
- July 12th: Mercury direct inconjunct Neptune Rx (16 deg Pisces)
- August 9th: Mercury Rx inconjunct Neptune Rx (15 deg)
Venus/Pluto is the shadow behind the social/relationship facade. Venus in Libra is polite/pretty/happy. All is well and sweet and slightly (appropriately) flirtatious. But with a square from Pluto, you can be sure that something a bit darker is dominating the proceedings from behind the curtain. This could be the obsessive attraction (disguised as something else) or the flirtation that has much more to it. If you sense there's more going on, you're correct.
Venus square Pluto is passionate but anxious. Something is desired and the intensity arises from the fear that it won't be attained, or that it will be taken away. Venus square Pluto is competitive, because she feels that her survival depends on getting what she wants. But it's all glossed over with Libra's beautiful smile. Venus in Libra would die before she admitted that everything wasn't just lovely, so don't bother trying to get anyone to admit to what's going on beneath the surface.
But you'll know. You'll sense the passive-aggressvie energy, the "concealed but not quite" social competition or the passion that's not fully admitted to. And if you're the one who's pretending...it can help tremendously if you admit (even privately) to what you really want.
All in all, a challenging day due to what's partially revealed. And we have the Pisces Full Moon, with Mercury ruling the Virgo Sun. But you've got that Grand Earth Trine to fall back on. When things get sticky, you can turn to what you know is working and focus on the job in front of you. Leave the social maneuvering to other people.
