Saturn stations direct in Scorpio on August 2nd, at 28 degrees. This means the review process of Saturn's return to Scorpio is approaching the end, as Saturn moves forward.
Whatever Saturn Rx in Scorpio churned up can now be wrapped up, for good. Yes, it's finally, finally over. The metaphorical death that was foretold when Saturn was at this degree in December 2014, will manifest. You can put those spirits to rest.
It's about time.
Now is the time for closure and final goodbyes. It will be many, many years before Saturn enters Scorpio again, so this really does signify a permanent ending in the Scorpio area of your chart. Before Saturn enters Sag (on September 17th), there will be a mix of aspects. A hard square to Jupiter and Venus Rx (at 28 deg Leo) from August 3rd to 5th. A stabilizing trine to Mars in Cancer, combined with a hard square to Mercury in Leo, on August 6th (at 28 degrees). And another hard square to the Sun in Leo on August 21st (again, 28 degrees).
Moving forward means testing certain limits. Can you live with them? How do your reestablished priorities/goals hold up? The final degrees of Leo will be challenged; recognition, pride and public expression will be tested. The final degrees of Cancer will be supported; quieter needs, security and domestic concerns can achieve stability.
If you have anything from 28 to 29 degrees of the Fixed or Water signs, Saturn's direct station will impact you most strongly.
An upcoming group of aspects that I touched on here, will combine optimism with limits. Saturn in in Scorpio is involved (of course).
From July 19th to August 3rd, Jupiter in Leo will square Saturn in Scorpio, at 28 degrees. I talked about this theme of limits and expansion here, and now we'll see it play out. It could mean that proof is demanded before you can go any further, or, you find a way to light up your corner, no matter how dark it becomes.
From August 4th to 5th, Venus Rx will conjunct Jupiter/square Saturn, and from August 6th to 7th, Mercury will join Venus and Jupiter. That's a triple conjunction, involving what you want (Venus) plus messages/ideas (Mercury) that are simultaneously pumped up (Jupiter) and restricted (Saturn). What you learn/say may be very, very good, but there will be reasons to check the facts. Or, reasons to question your faith. Not a flat-out no, but certainly a time to think before you say yes. Or, a challenge that pushes you to prove the validity of that big idea. Venus in Leo previously squared Saturn on July 14th (when Saturn was Rx and Venus direct) so you may revisit an incident from this date.
To assist, we have Mars in Cancer trining Saturn, from August 2nd to 6th. Actions (Mars) in the Cancer area of your chart will be aligned with goals/rules, meaning you can make something happen if you push from a place of emotion (instinctive actions based on what feels essential). Saturn will give you traction, focus and a way forward, even if that way is somewhat narrow and defined.
Note that Saturn will be stationing direct on August 2nd, suggesting that even though there will be delays or challenges to what you want, there will also be forward movement. It may be slow, grinding movement, but it will be in the right direction. All this faith and questioning will be part of the Saturn in Scorpio wrap up. What did Saturn's return to Scorpio mean for you? The squares to Leo indicate that there's a significant test, before Saturn returns to Sag.
It's telling that these squares are happening during the last time Saturn will be in Scorpio, for many years to come (until 2041). There's a last-chance feeling to these aspects, a final definition of how far you're willing to go, or how far you're allowed go. It's not just about Saturn harshing your Leo vibe, it's about crystallizing the edge of your adventure. These are the boundaries of your exploration. This is where you met resistance, and turned back. Or dug in, and established an outpost. Anytime Jupiter is involved, there's a move into unknown territory.
You'll feel the Saturn square if you have anything from 25 to 29 degrees of the Fixed signs, and you'll feel the trine to Mars if you have anything from 25 to 29 degrees of the Water Signs.

"Different transits can herald the end of a relationship, each with their own planet-specific lessons. A 12th House Saturn ending doesn’t deliver the gut-punch of Pluto, or the abrupt, ripping away of Uranus. If it’s time for your partnership to wind down, Saturn’s transit through the last house in your chart can trigger a long goodbye. It can take two to three years, and often involves a drawn-out process of sacrifice and dissolution. This transit does not automatically mean that your relationship will end. But it will trigger an ending in some area of your life. The 12th House is all about endings, and Saturn transits are about maturity. Combine the two, and you get an influence that compels you to leave behind what you’ve outgrown, or what’s outgrown you. And that may be your relationship. The process begins when Saturn moves from the 11th to the 12th House, and ends once Saturn passes over your Ascendant, crystallizing your brand new identity."

"In a previous article, I wrote about hard aspects between natal Moon/Saturn and Venus/Saturn in a man’s chart. This article will explore the effects of these natal aspects in a woman’s chart. While the impact on the love life is similar, there are differences. The condition of natal Moon and Venus has a direct impact on the type of partner a straight man is attracted to. As the primary female archetype, a woman’s Moon reflects (in addition to her needs) her expression as mother and nurturer. This is true, whether or not she has children. Her Venus indicates how she expresses herself as a woman who attracts what she desires. In a queer woman’s chart, Venus also describes who she’s attracted to."
