Mercury in Virgo
Mercury's first aspect since it entered Virgo is an inconjunct to Chiron Rx. This will enhance your awareness of a flaw while reminding you that it can't be fixed. Chiron is the wound and an inconjunct is a disconnect. So attempts to analyze and find a solution will not make it better. In some cases, the more you think about it or attempt to say the right thing, the more it will hurt. Accept that there's a sore spot, do what you can to address it, and then leave it alone.
Fortunately, Mercury goes on to conjoin Pallas, which combines logic with creative strategies and patterns. You see the pattern/come up with the solution and you're able to talk/write about it concisely. Excellent for saying exactly what needs to be said. Note that this will not solve the Chiron wound - that sore spot is going to remain. But you are encouraged to move forward and focus on what you can improve, rather than fixating on what's broken.
Speaking of moving forward, Saturn direct says it's go time for plans, goals and expressions of authority that have been on hold since April 17th, 2018 (when Saturn stationed Rx). Saturn direct can officially solidify something. It can help you draw a line or set a boundary, now that the period of review is over.
If Saturn direct is once again making an applying aspect to something in your natal chart (between 2 and 9 degrees of the Earth, Water or Cardinal signs) you'll experience a final shot of stability and/or restriction (hard aspects restrict while easy aspects stabilize).
Ceres Into Libra
Ceres' Libra ingress is about nurturing relationships and equitable exchanges. Give and take, harmony and balance can flourish and become prime avenues of support. The best expression of this energy would be the growth that occurs in any one-on-one relationship where diplomacy and compromise are themes. You give, they accept and give something back. The partnership flourishes. Due to this new growth, you are able to give even more, they accept what you give and respond with an increased amount.
And so on.
But keeping in mind that Ceres is about the cycle of nurturing and loss, this transit can also heighten your awareness of imbalances between what you give and get in return. Maybe you get nothing in return. Or, maybe a relationship reaches the point in its cycle where there is nothing left to give, and it ends or becomes dormant (the winter phase).
During this transit, pay attention to what's reflected back at you. What you receive/don't receive may be a reflection of how you nurture. Do you give too much with expectations that you'll receive the same, only to be disappointed? Do you nurture balance in your life? Oversharing or (conversely) sharing nothing can deplete you.
Ceres will exit Libra for Scorpio on November 11th, 2018.
Saturn direct and Ceres' change of signs (plus Mercury newly into Virgo) does suggest that today will present some significant shifts. We're into a new chapter, which is good news if you've been stuck. Note that Ceres is applying to a square with Saturn (exact on September 11th) and I'll write more about that when it happens. But you might be feeling this already - a steadily increasing limit that defines what can be exchanged between you and another.
